Geometry Update
New
- Surface-snapped point plotting: points snap to whatever surface you’re aiming at, with a live cursor preview.
- Mid-air point placement: hold right-click while plotting to place a point at any height.
- Clothoid transitions at the entry and exit of every curve, so curvature ramps smoothly instead of jumping straight to full arc radius.
- Hairpin merging: overlapping rounded corners resolve into a clean hairpin instead of breaking.
- Custom curvature mode rebuilt with speed-driven geometry: arcs widen at higher design speeds and tighten at lower ones.
- B-Spline elevation interpolation for smoother grade transitions.
- Axis-lock point editing: lock movement to a single axis when adjusting a placed point.
- Distance readout in the plotting dock showing total road length as you place points.
- Expandable warnings with a pin highlight on the exact point causing a tight-curve issue.
- All docks unified under a dark charcoal theme with animated status banners and warning rows.
- Help dock redesigned with a tabbed layout covering Workflow, Terminology, Warnings, Road Styles, and Credits.
- Changelog tab in Help showing live version status from GitHub, with a configurable refresh cooldown.

- Superelevation transitions smoother and more consistent: overlapping zones blend instead of creasing, and S-curve reversals begin earlier.
- Banking amplitude increased for more visible road lean at typical design speeds.
- Speed input range extended to 5–80.
- Unsaved changes indicator in Road Styles so it’s clear when settings haven’t been applied.

- Crash when clicking an existing road to start a new one.
- Selection highlights lingering on roads after entering or exiting an edit mode.

- Now you can create a mirrored version of the current generation
