Hello everyone.
There’s no “Rbx Animations” tab on my Blender. How can I get it to there?
Okay so I was attempt to make animation with R6 but when I imported the R6 model and rebuild the rig then I noticed the legs look like this
If I edit the legs to be straight but it end up this
How I fix this?
I don’t think there is a way to fix this issue (I also had the same problem). But in one of Den_S’s reply, when you scroll up, he states that “the addon doesn’t support changing the generated armature object at all, only rotation and translation transforms on the pose bones”. I don’t know how to properly quote a reply…
oh okay thank you for replied! I ll use original instead of edited
You’re welcome! I’m glad I could help .
Wait!!!
OOh, I have completely forgot that we could edit joints… Thanks for the tip, I’ll try this out!
Uh… why it rotated wrong way? ;-;
inside roblox it messed up…
inside blender it worked perfect
Hmm, which version of blender are you using? I used to have that problem in Blender 2.79, but with the newer 2.8 version I no longer had the issue.
I’m on blender 2.79 version… but I ll get newer version 2.8 blender but I don’t want to overwrite the old blender version… but I ll get it now
Do not mess with the joints. They won’t work with the normal R6 that ROBLOX rigged. The legs will look off.
i just fixed it already so it not messed up anymore so it worked perfect now
in blender
in studio
If you plan on making the animations usable for players the leg will look off/move out of place and such. Never mess with the default rig unless your only plan is to use it for a cutscene or something in which the player can’t move or interact in (unless there are buttons to press to advance or something similar.)
Im having a problem, My animation is mirrored. I scrolled through 90% of the replys i dont see anything about this problem. When i press “1” on the keypad, it takes you to front view. So now i animated my model, but when i import to roblox apparently the front view was the back view. I tried to rotate the roblox character ingame before importing animation that didnt work. I tried to rotate each key frame individually, which makes sense and should work, but it didnt. So now i have no idea what to do apart from restarting. Do you know how to fix this without restarting?
I dont understand how im supposed to use the link to install the blender addon. Please help.
Whenever i change the .txt document to .py it does this
and when i open it it shows an error
If you use the front view while the rig itself was imported the other way around, then you’ll be looking at the back (see also the left/right bone names). I don’t know of an easy way to flip this around without a script, but generally you want to do this flipping/mirroring within blender, so maybe that’ll help you search for a solution.
You’ll have to load it from Blender. See “Blender 2.80: Install Blender addon though Edit → Preferences → Add-ons → Install from file → (select that one)”.
>Make a block rig using Roblox’s default Rig Builder plugin
>Export rig with rootpart at 0,0,0 (Rig.obj
)
>Import into Blender 2.82a
using File
→ Import
→ [Rbx Animations] Rig import
File
→ Export
→ FBX
(Rigged.fbx
)Rigged.fbx
WalkingAnim.fbx
)LocRot
WalkingAnim.fbx
)Ever any plans to add WeldConstraint compatability or would that not be possible
I’m wondering how I can animate multiple rigs at once.
