I’m having an issue with blender not being able to load in object color. I’ve been having a lot of issues with blender starting about a month ago when a new update came out, and I don’t understand the new system.
Can someone please tell me how to get color in the render? I attached a video so you guys can see what is happening. I was using cycles render engine for this.
The colour data is being stored in the “Viewport Display” Colour field.
You can easily transfer that colour data to the texture:
Hover your mouse over the colour field and press Ctrl+C, then in the Shader Editor add a MixRGB node in between the colour texture node and the Principled BSDF shader and set it to “Multiply.” Finally, hover you mouse over the 2nd colour option on the MixRGB node and press Ctrl+V
Just do this to each material and you’ll have your colours back.
