Soo… I’ve been recently working on game Left Behind and the game is something like The last of us…
And the game has a small amount of gore,
Bites, bleeding… Nothing too realistic… The game has also warning of blood at the start, and my question is:
Will I get banned though I warned people?
Most likely if Roblox moderators think that there is too much gore, your game will be flagged for review and I believe they’ll give you the chance to tone it down. I’m not sure how strict they are with this rule but as long as its not too bad you should be fine.
Warning people means nothing in this context. If it isn’t allowed, it isn’t allowed. You should be safe if the quantity of blood is kept to a minimum (no large pools of blood on the ground), and if the blood is limited to transparent red blocks/circles and not detailed decals.
Okay, I’ll send you screenshot if it’s too detailed…
Thats fine, I’ve seen worse in big games
Okay, so I’m good?
30 characters
like what???
have you seen. example plz
Just because someone else ‘got away with it’ doesn’t mean you should do it. There was a game called Blood Flow that got taken down once it reached 2 million visits. That one just had shiny red circles. Now, the game has a re-uploaded version which hasn’t been taken down yet, so make of that what you will.
All of that being said, if you can find multiple popular games that are clearly more gory than what you’re doing, then you’re probably fine. If it were me, I wouldn’t put blood in the thumbnail or icon, I wouldn’t put blood on the start screen, and I would reserve its use only where it’s logical. Imagine a mod boots up your game and the first thing they see is a bunch of blood. It wouldn’t be a good first impression.
Frankly,
A Warning is not enough. Roblox Moderation does not like “Inappropriate” content no matter how small and A warning really does not stop anyone from accessing it.
As well as this, moderation can sometime be A depends on the day thing where some content is safe and some is not. I know many people say this but:
If you are unsure do not do it.
If this helps the Roblox ToS states:
Overly violent content and/or content related to tragic current events or circumstances. We do not allow such content, including:
- Atrocities, massacres, and other shocking real (or pseudo-real) world events; and
- Extreme violence, physical or psychological abuse.
Dangerous, unethical and illegal activities. Not only do we not allow these activities, we do not allow anyone discussing them or encouraging others to discuss (or take) such actions, including:
- Hacking, phishing, flaming, exploits, cheating, spam, deceptive practices, scams;
- Misleading, sexual or racy thumbnails or other images, videos or text;
- Gambling with Robux or real money;
- Terrorism, Nazism or Neo Nazism, organized criminal activity, gangs and gang violence;
- Instructions for engaging in violent activities, including bomb- or weapon-making
- Criminal activity;
- Illegal drugs or prescription drugs without a prescription;
- The use or sale of drugs, alcohol, or tobacco by minors; and
- Blackmail or extortion.
Make of that what you will.
From my point of view, it looks like that man in the black suit took something sharp and stab that innocent guy on the white shirt.
By the way, good detail with the sparking blood from his brain.
P.S, it kinda reminds me of Mortal Kombat 11, lol
Gambling with Robux?
Is there such a thing as that??
The game has a fair warning [warning will come in every launguage in case]
If they will report it for blood even THOUGH we warned them IT IS NOT fair.
No?
As konekokitten said, these games will bring more matture people
Blood is allowed in Roblox. As long as it doesn’t depict extremely realistic gore, you should be fine.
Saying this from experience with many, many games.
I think it may be similar to the thing that happened with Real Currency being used in Adopt Me trades.
Certain content is not allowed in games, and adding a warning does not change that. However, in all likelihood you’ll be fine. Even if every character in your game had the blood stains from the image, I’d estimate you have a 95% chance of never running into a problem. I imagine some people on DevForum would disagree and say your safety is guaranteed. Not everyone agrees on this and ultimately it’s your choice what you want to do. Hopefully all of us who have responded were able to help you make an informed decision.
…I’m pretty sure everyone who was kid has fallen from bike and was bleeding… In my class I’m the only person who didn’t break a bone yet. So I’m pretty sure everybody was bleeding/saw somebody bleeding when he/she was little.
- the game has only some small scratch systems, no blood effect when you shoot somebody. No head dissapearing or anything!
I think, this is unfair to ban games that have blood example: Roblox Russian Roulette
See, It’s dumb to ban games like this that has blood because it ruins the player’s experience, and there are not some little kids who play this game my option, And Blood Flow is cool too, but then some moderator just ban Blood Flow, But Luckily it reopen but no blood, that’s kinda disappointed, and yes, I’m not saying its the creator fault, Its Roblox Fault, But yes “Not suitable for little children”.
