Welcome to Bloxia Resorts!
This handbook will tell you all about us, as well as how we do things here at Bloxia.
[UPDATE 24/9/20] This handbook is being rewritten at the moment, a link to the new one will be posted once complete.
[UPDATE 19/12/29] Interviews have now been automated. The guide is therefore irrelevant and is now unavailable. The centre itself has closed anyways, so why do we need it?

Housekeeping
Guide
As a Housekeeper, you will be at the housekeeping desk at the hotel.
You will get three tools: broom, vacuum and trolley.
You can go around the hotel and Clean the Floors and make sure the resort is neat and tidy.
To get each tool, just click on them, they are in the staff rooms.
To clean just hold out the tool and act like you are cleaning the Floors.
If someone needs you to clean their room, go and flush the toilet, open shower doors if they are closed, shut off the water if it is left on.
You can also give out information about the hotel if they come and ask you.
Do note that as housekeeping, you can’t work at Catering or Reception.
After you have read them all out, do a recap with the trainees.
Questions:
Point total will be after the question.
- As a housekeeper, where will you be stationed at? (1)
- What 3 tools will you get as part of your job? (0.5/1)
(Give a point if 2 or 3 are correct, half a point if only 1 is correct. If a trainee has safechat, use III instead.) - How do you get your tools? (1)
- What do you do when you clean a room? (0.5/1)

Troll Test
If the trainer wishes to skip this part, they must still explain how to deal with a troller
As a trainer, put on your Troll costume and act like a troll. You may do this test up to 3 times, but the difficulty should increase.
Pass/Fail
Trainees need at least 4/6 to pass, meaning it is possible to pass if the trainee gets only 1 thing correct on the Cleaning and/or Tools questions. Trainees also need to pass the Troll test.
If they pass, you should congratulate them that they have passed.
If they don’t pass, you should sincerely apologise to them that they have failed the interview and that they could try again at another interview session.
Catering
Guide
As a Catering Staff Member, you are going to serve the guests with the food and drinks that they desire.
We have many different food items, as well as a lot of drink options.
Once you have all the desired food, use the Hand-To tool and give out the food.
If you need help with this section, simply use the handbook.
After you have read them all out, ask the trainees to make some drinks.
The size and type of drink is your choice.
Ask the trainees to make 5 drinks. The drinks should get harder to make as you go on.

Security
Guide
As a security member, you are going to patrol the resort, keep an eye for disruptions and protect the game from rioting and haters.
Your goal is to make sure the resort is a happy and safe place of the guests, and maintain our safest resort reputation.
As a security member, you get 3 tools: Handcuffs, Segway and Taser.
The three main rules of the security team is as follows:
Patience: Don’t lose your cool if you encounter a troller, always act professional.
Three-strike system: Make sure you give three warnings before you cuff them and ask a medium or high rank to kick them. Exceptions do apply for certain violations.
Abuse: Do not abuse the handcuff, segway and taser that you are given, they are given to make your job easier, not to use them at random and for not reason.
After you have read them out, you may do a recap.

Promotion Guide
How to not get promoted:
- Be a troller
- Ask for a promotion
- Not get enough worker points (you need 500 to rank up to Department Head ranks)
- Fail to complete an evaluation form once you get enough worker points (see above)
- Fail the Department Head evaluation.
How to get promoted:
- Work hard. (HRs are more likely to want to promote you if they see you working hard and being professional.)
- Get enough worker points (you need 500 to rank up to Department Head ranks)
- Complete an evaluation form once you get enough worker points (see above)
- Pass the Department Head evaluation.
How to get demoted from Department Head
- Fail to meet your interview/training quota (At least 1 interview and 3 trainings per month)
(if you can’t meet the quota for any reason, contact an OM+) - Be a troller
- Breaking the rules
- Admin Abuse (AA)
- Interview System Abuse (ISA)
Worker Points
Worker Points can be obtained by working at the resort. You gain 1 point per 6 minutes, which equals to 10 points per hour. You need 500 points to get to the Department Head ranks.
It takes 50 hours to get 500 points, meaning that the average person would need about 10 days of work, if you assume that the person works 5 hours per day. It takes 50 days if you only work 1 hour a day.
If you are a Department Head, the point per minute ratio changes from 1:6 to 1:3, meaning you would only need to work 25 days to get another 500 points, if you only work 1 hour a day.
But you need 2500 points to get to the Management ranks, meaning that you would have to work about 100 days…
If you are lucky enough to get to a Management position, your points per minute ratio goes from 1:3 to 2:3/1:1.5, meaning it would only take 12 and a half days to get to 500 points, and 25 days to get to 1000.
You need 12,500 points to rank further, though, which means you would have to work 250 days to get to 10,000.
That is already 350 days that you would have to work to even get to Executive, unless the owner ranks you up earlier. And even then, you would need to be in the Bloxia Corporation group aswell.
In short:
The minimum number to rank up to Department Head is 500.
The minimum number to rank up to Manager is 2500.
The minimum to rank up to Developer or an Executive position is 12,500, and you need to be in the Bloxia Corporation group.
