Kind of? Funny thing, the top titlebar is supposed to follow the transparency effect. It doesn’t if the option to show accent colors in title bars/window borders is enabled because of some stupid quirk with Windows. I tried to save the look as much I could, but it’s just not that good, so I’m disabling it in the next update.
The multiple instances thing is cool, but if you join a game from the same account while still in a game, the old client is kicked and the window doesn’t close.
Also, if you reinstall roblox, bloxstrap’s loader doesn’t replace roblox’s anymore. You’d have to restall bloxstrap to fix this!
No, use the “Play Roblox” shortcut that’s on the desktop or in the Start menu to reregister Bloxstrap as Roblox’s launch handler. Switching between Roblox and Bloxstrap · pizzaboxer/bloxstrap Wiki · GitHub
Does future lighting work with direct3D 10?
Why not test yourself? Direct3D10 is not even supported by this bootstrapper to my knowledge.
It added support just today because v2.4.0 droppod
Oh, well then I should update my bootstrapper.
@xtremeguy2256 maybe you could add a boot style that looks similar to the one on the Roblox website. I always hated how the Roblox bootstrapper looks quite different to the Roblox loading thing on the website.
Suggestion for the next update add support for DirectX 12 since it delivers better performance than DirectX 11
I don’t implement these modes myself, I simply just force Roblox to use them. Roblox has no support for Direct3D 12, and likely won’t for a long time.
Are you able to add a feature to toggle on and off textures for water?
That’s not a FFlag, so no. The only way to achieve this is lower graphics levels.
I mean’t like actually removing the water texture via file explorer like this video shows:
You currently can by going to PlatformContent\pc\textures\water
but there also should justbe an option just to toggle water textures on or off
Oh, I see, so the water texture can be used for reflections.
How about making an anti-afk kick? Or is it impossible?
Not possible, someone asked me for it and I don’t think there’s a FastFlag available to disable it.
Congrats on making this open source! I’ll look if I can contribute anything in the near future, cool project here!
@xtremeguy2256 Do you think you could possibly add an option in which allows the new 2022 textures to be forced on all games, I prefer the new textures.
They already should be by default? I thought it was made opt-in by default a while ago. Anyway, I might be able to.
Maybe I have missed it, I will have a look now.
EDIT: The only option I see is to force the old textures, not the new ones.
