Diseases

Diseases are randomly contracted. If you contract a disease, you will notice that your walkspeed may be slightly affected and your health is slightly lower than usual. If you are seriously sick, you may start to feel dizzy, nauseous, or feint.

The diseases currently active in the game are:

  • Fever
  • Influenza

Doctors

Doctors are medical professionals who are able to heal players and as well as diagnose and cure diseases

Healing Players

Doctors are able to heal players within a certain range of them. This makes them a valuable asset in civil life as well as on the battlefield. Doctors are able to heal more people at further ranges as well as heal them better as their stage increases. Doctors receive shillings depending on the amount of health they are able to restore.

Diagnosing and Curing Players

Doctors are able to diagnose players, which will let them know what disease the player is afflicted with. Once diagnosed, doctors must purchase the materials necessary to cure the player from an Apothecary. Below are the materials needed to craft a cure for each disease:

Cure Materials for Diseases

Fever

  • Coriander
  • Ginger
  • Honey

Influenza

  • Echinacea
  • Elderberry
  • Garlic Extract
  • Licorice Root
  • North American Ginseng

Once a doctor has the necessary materials, they are able to cure the player. When this happens, the patient will be presented with the choice to accept the cure based on an auto-generated price. Upon accepting, the doctor will be able to cure the player. The doctor will receive the money that the player gives to them, minus a portion paid to the Crown for taxes. Upgrading your stage will reduce this tax.
