I was also gonna ask about this - it’s not exactly related, but I was taking a break from Roblox when it dropped - are there any plans to add these grass terrain decorations to parts, say using a new bool property or something? The performance impact of smooth terrain is pretty bad on a large map and I build my maps entirely out of parts instead as a result.

Is this live in game?
I’ve been looking forward to this beta for over a year now and I’m really happy that it’s finally here. I actually prepared my game for this last year. When I was doing that, I realized I would need to run some code on a few of my particle emitters to match the GlobalWind property every time it changed. That being said, I’m glad that WindAffectsDrag is now a property on particle emitters.
For anyone that is interested in what it looks like in-game, I have a place that has already implemented it (Rainy Vibes). Right now I have GlobalWind affect some tree leaves, plants, wind vanes and windmills around the map. I’ll be enabling WindAffectsDrag on some falling leaves later this week.

Here’s an interesting idea.
A wind instance
This instance would allow you to add wind to only a specific area, allowing you to make things like fans wave things around, or air based abilities in RPG games to wave around particles and grass.
EDIT: After reading a few other comments I see that I had the same idea as @XenoDenissboss1 lol
Some releases are hit and miss (The new UI windows in studio being a big miss)
and this is most definitely a huge hit, would be interesting to see how I can utilise this
Great addition! Im hoping to see more innovative features like these in the future! Are you also planning on adding objects that can simulate wind from a set point (for example when you have a propeller that pushes air in a certain direction) and are you also planning on having wind affect the drag from parts?
