Oh sweet! This is absolutely one remarkable piece to take a look at, and I am definitely interested into participating my game on closed beta in regards to this feature. A kudos to whoever worked on it and made this possible, can’t wait to test this out when I do get the chance granted to me. Anyways, here is the link to my game, The Jungle (The Last Bloxian Standing Map) - Roblox.
I’m interested. Here is the link: Interview Center - Roblox, this is quite interesting, and would love to see the new bubblechat implemented on my game.
I’d love to be able to test this in this place:

Really excited about this, the current chat system, including bubble chat, always cuts off/ removes periods so hopefully we won’t have to put up with it anylonger.
That’s pretty good stuff! Hope David’s opinion will be great on this chat update.
I’m really excited for this feature! It looks awesome! However, Roblox still needs to fix bubble chat being cut-off.
I’d like it to be enabled in my game, Sword Rush! Here is the ID:

Thanks!
It looks fantastic! BubbleChat’s been needing a revamp for a long time lol
Amazing feature, this will fresh the bubble chat.
I got excited there for a moment. Look at all those changes! Animations ! Bug fixes ! CoreScri- wait…what?
I would like to kindly emphasize my hatred towards this being a CoreScript.
why
WHY?
Haven’t you guys learned already? Cutting functionality from developers isn’t the way to go. This is evident given that almost every core utility (Chat, ControlScript, CameraScript) that was inaccessible in 2012, has since been ported to Lua. Even if you introduce a hundred and one properties and methods, that still doesn’t beat the fact it’s a CoreScript, and cannot be changed under any circumstances. What kind of extraterrestrial libraries are you relying on? It’s a bubble chat; a TextLabel that appears over one’s head. If you think exposing these libraries will “pollute the development environment,” you should seriously consider not making your codebase as complicated as it is. I don’t mean to sound aggressive, but I am not happy with this change given the current mindset.
As a matter of fact, adding more customization in the form of Instance properties and methods just makes it more polluting to the developer. Being able to read and understand exactly what each line of code does is what allows me to sleep at night. Putting my full trust in the developer wiki over a bubble chat is not the most ideal experience for me. It may be convenient for several non-programmers out there, but there are still better ways, many of which don’t involve using closed-source code. I would also much rather be able to change the code to fully customize it to my liking, and not be forced into a single, immutable ecosystem.
It’s not just me. Several people have complained about this.
Ergo, my disappointment is immeasurable, and I feel this is a step in the wrong direction. Don’t get me wrong, the new bubble chat looks absolutely stunning, but looks I’ll have to disembark henceforth, and fork the legacy version. Or, even worse:
Make my own
Hi, we would like to try on placeid - 4726792279. Question though, if we don’t like it can it be disabled? Thanks in advance.
If possible I would like to have the bubble chat enabled here: https://www.roblox.com/games/5656508786/Storage-Lot-2B
PlaceID: 5656508786
When this goes public, where will I be able to change the settings for bubble chat and customize it to my needs?
We are interested in testing the closed beta.

I really hope this update fixes that chat bubble bug where it cuts off sentences.
There is an option for view distance. In the original post it says:
- Setting bubble duration
- Maximum amount of bubbles above a single character
- Text font
- Text color
- Bubble background color
- Minimize/hidden distance <—
Hi!
I’m currently using old bubble chat modules in my new game and it lags/cuts out text all the time because of the large servers. I would love to try this out in an upcoming update as the game relies heavily on the chat.
My only question is if this is a toggle option or if you’ll just change the module scripts that load in for the place until it becomes an api. I’d appreciate an option for toggling it on and off through scripts.
Looks great though!
