this text isnt even accurate saying “applying script changes” but i never edited any scripts
and i publish the game, and i cant exit studio. ive been waiting for 30 minutes and i cant close studio.
This probably isn’t actually saying that you edited a script. “Applying script changes” seems to be a generic Studio process related to syncing/applying script state when closing.
There have been reports of that message appearing even in places with no scripts, and other users have reported Studio getting permanently stuck on that screen as well.
Since you already published successfully and it’s been stuck for 30 minutes, I’d probably treat it as a Studio hang rather than continue waiting. Before killing Studio, make sure the place really did publish/save if you can verify it.
I’d also make a Studio Bug report with your Studio version, whether you were playtesting beforehand, Team Create status, enabled plugins, and the logs if possible. The fact that the UI says “Applying script changes” despite you never touching a script is worth mentioning too.
I appreciate the rest of the help, but what how exactly “making sure” can help in this case?..
“and let’s hope the experience has been published/saved” suits here better.
Because application stuck for 30 minutes is definitely doing nothing useful.
At for least, for Roblox saving experience for 30 minutes is something extra ordinary, I guess.

0.735.0.7351131_20260820T003621Z_Studio_439FD_last.log (1.4 MB)
i believe this should be the correct log file
I have experienced this issue too and proved to be quite annoying, forcing me to use Task Manager to quit Roblox. This bug only occurred when I attempted to overwrite my current game from another local file save. (Doesn’t have to be a local file save)
