There are so, so, so many. And they’re all equally frustrating, especially when they directly result in a worse experience in-game and there’s nothing you can do to fix it.
To name a few;
In SCP: Roleplay , players have been experiencing massive stuttering at random times for about a second or more. This seems to be unrelated to characters dying.
This is what I could gather from the microprofiler when someone died and my frames dropped:

Unfortunately I do not really know what could be causing this, as it is quite hard to tell through the microprofiler alone from a quick glance.
This stuttering usually drops the frames pretty low and has been reported by a cou…
Introduction
I run a team of 4 full time developers and a rotating team of part-time contractors called Ruddev Media. We’ve been responsible for many projects throughout the years but the project that our team has depended on over the last 4 years has been Bad Business. This is an FPS game that has 390 million visits, been featured in platform-wide events (Egg Hunt 2021, Ready Player Two), and was initially funded by Roblox in part of the Accelerator Program.
Starting sometime in mid-late Apri…
For some users while entering and playing in Team Create they’ll quickly disconnect and be kicked from Team Create and this happens constantly for them. This is extremely important as it causes those specific users to be unable to use Team Create to play test at all to work on their experiences and it’s happening to multiple different users. After the issue occurs Studio just sits there and you’re unable to interact with your play test anymore.

Reproduction Steps
If a part property is changed under a character wearing layered clothing (LC) - including ones which aren’t related to LC and its wrapping at all like humanoid root part color - a noticeable rendering delay occurs. If this is done on every frame, CPU usage peaks and framerate drops. I assume this is because of internal recomputations related to the LC, but those should only be triggered if really necessary.

Players have been reporting massive lagspikes while playing SCP: Roleplay since kill effects were added. Microprofiler from the players (which I’ve also been able to reproduce myself) shows that this is caused by WaitForRenderThread / UpdateInvalidatedFastClusters.
[image]
This seems to be related to UpdateInvalidatedFastClusters , as it seems to trigger when effects are applied on player characters. (such as particles being added or color being changed)

In my game players can build machines/vehicles using blocks and they connect together using welds. When a machine with a high part count gets unanchored, the client will slow down to 0fps and eventually crash only on the live game. This bug does not happen in studio. In the microprofiler, Replicator ProcessPackets looks like its the problem. I am on Windows 10. Today was the first time I experienced this bug.
This can be reproduced in my game Astromakers
