Build to Survive Drakobloxxers: Rescripted

Drakobloxxer facts

I’m allowed to use “BLOX” in the game title, because I made this rescript before those rules were enforced
The titular enemies were featured in DOORS as a part of 2024 April Fools event. Only the lava / fire variants. You might also notice the badge for this event is the same as the game icon!
There are two different Drakobloxxer models. The one used in DOORS is the different one.
There is a UGC hat inspired by the original game. You also get a badge for wearing it!
Drakobloxxers are dragons. “Draco” in Latin means a “dragon”.
The original game was an ultimate example of trial and error. The original creator - papasmurf wanted to make a dragon fight place. It wasn’t successful. The game became “build to survive” after someone suggested it to him. After a month of work, it became the game we know. It has gathered over 6 million visits.
The pumpkin Drakobloxxers are inspired by one of their seasonal appearances from the original game.

How was the fix made?

First version of my fix was done in 1-2 days!

My friend had a copy of the classic game, which contained most if not all the necessary stuff.
The game was missing a Drakobloxxer model - which I was able to get from Free Models.
I used original code as a reference to writing my own code. Thanks to many API updates, I was able to implement alternative methods while keeping the original style of game.

VIP

If you own the original VIP Shirt, you don’t need a gamepass to see the effects!
VIPs get:

Permament ForceField - It protects you from ranged attacks. Your hats won’t like it though.
20 WalkSpeed - You will move much faster and those pesky Drakobloxxers won’t chew on you!
x2 Points - Your survival will be rewarded.
Paintball Gun - It’s able to damage “your” Drakobloxxer. Eat paint!
Teleport - You can teleport to any location you click with a 5s cooldown.

You can disable the passive effects (WalkSpeed and ForceField) via in-game Settings menu.

Private Server Commands

VIP Server owners can use commands.

/pause or /unpause - pauses game timers

Shop items

You can buy 5 items from the in-game shop buttons.
Items available and their prices:

Parachute [1] - When equipped, it allows for a slow fall.
Body Changer [3] - It’s a cosmetic item which allows you to change your body shape. Sphere, Torso, Wedge, Cylinder and Block!
Super Jump [7] - Make a great leap on click!
House [10] - On click, it will spawn an indestructible construction which lasts for an entire round.
Walk Faster [15] - On click, receive a permament speed boost (32 WalkSpeed).

New features

Game detects if all Drakobloxxers are gone and ends the round with a humorous message.
Vote Skip is able to skip the building phase when over 50% of the players are ready.
Sounds for tools and Drakobloxxers. It’s done to give more life to a formerly silent game. It can be turned on and off.
Retro music is added as well.
If you ever buy all the tools, you will always spawn with those in the next playthroughs.
I have buffed the House tool as a popular request. It now lasts for a round, not just 30 seconds. Houses did in-fact last longer in the past (as seen in one of the videos).
Tools have received proper icons.
