The item in question is an avatar head that becomes fully invisible under specific conditions, particularly when the user’s graphics settings are set to level 8 or higher. This invisibility occurs because, at these graphics levels, Roblox optimizes performance by removing the ColorMap from the SurfaceAppearance, inadvertently rendering the head invisible.
This head also violates the terms of service for UGC Dynamic Heads due to the following reasons:
Unfair Advantage in PvP Scenarios: Invisible avatars can evade hitbox detection, providing players with unintended advantages in player-versus-player interactions. This undermines fair play and disrupts game balance.
Reference: Roblox Marketplace Policy, specifically the clause: “Making a user’s avatar disappear (completely or partially).” This clearly prohibits the sale of such items.
Interference with User Interface Elements: A fully transparent or invisible head can conceal essential UI components, such as display names and health bars, hindering player interactions and communication.
Expected behavior
The ColorMap should persist rather than having been removed in its entirety.
