Cannot buy giftcards on Cashstar - Transaction declined

Had same issues, ended up buying from reseller but the quantity limits are annoying

I am having a similar issue. My friend purchased me an eGiftCard via roblox.com/giftcards - yesterday at nearly 10:00 PM Central Time, and it still hasn’t came through. I am unaware as to why this is happening.

Yeah this has been happening to me for about 2 weeks now, contacted support and they told me to try different browsers. But the same thing happened on chrome, edge, opera, firefox.

Why is this still an issue?

A year ago I’ve been getting robux via robux giftcards or sending others robux giftcards through Cashstar perfectly fine using a Visa Prepaid card until a $80 giftcard was purchased successfully in december 2020, but any future transactions afterwards would be declined, card charged and refunded only several days later, a week at latest in my case.

For now, I’ve had to use my Visa Debit card linked to my bank account to be able to successfully purchase giftcards without fail, though my prepaid card continues to be declined. In the cases that the transactions were successful, I did get the product (robux + virtual bonus item) and in the cases that there were declined, all of my money were refunded thankfully.

Tried to buy multiple giftcards with paypal, every time I tried the page ended up being stuck on an infinite loop

Bumping this thread as the issue is still occurring. It’s completely unacceptable and needs to be addressed as soon as possible.

i agree, in my opinion this Problem is very poorly handled because this problem occurs for almost a year and we got no response or help with this problem.

I have a problem with roblox.cashstar.com too. The thing is I can’t even access it.

It only says this every time.

This happens on all devices I have (PC,Laptop,Smartphone)
This started happening Today when I tried to buy giftcard to get new chain.

Is it cause I live in Ukraine? I tried using VPN but nothing works

Just ordered a card and it went into infinite loading, my transaction also went into a pending state and still has to process apparently.

Anyone else with this problem?
Seems like same issue as @dobdev posted above.

same thing is happening to me.
I’ve tried everything ranging from: switch credit cards, contacting bank, contacting roblox themselves, currently in the process of sending in a report to cashstar but I know that will end up fruitless. Stuck in a stupid limbo, with probably 11-12 failed purchase attempts. Wow.

Having this issue too, bought a £5 gift card from the Roblox Cashstar website and the order has been stuck on processing for an entire day (which shouldn’t be the case since previous giftcards I bought had processed instantly). My order didn’t refund/cancel either unlike the other cases here so I’ve basically lost that money :person_shrugging:

A quick Google search shows that Cashstar doesn’t exactly have the best reputation, as demonstrated within their Trustpilot. When will this ever be fixed?

dude this just started happening to me i just tried to gift one of my friends a 5 dollar card and it didnt go thought i tried 3 times with their email and once with mine and still failed
i just bought myself a card yesterday because of the new item but come on dude why is this still happening its almost been a year and still no fix

I had the same issue as well :confused:

I sadly lost $10 from trying to purchase a ROBLOX gift card. I tried twice, using my debit card and PayPal, but they all resulted in the “Unable to Process Your Digital Gift Card Order” email.

I tried contacting CashStar about the matter, but they didn’t even respond, even if I waited 3 days. I expected them to respond after that amount of days!

Also, to add insult to injury, they said that “Settled charges will be refunded to the original form of payment.” However, I never received a refund at all.

To be honest, I will probably not use CashStar again. And yep, I actually checked the reviews of it (Trustpilot, etc.) with people calling the site a scam. Was trying to get the bobux bag as well, but it requires you to purchase a gift card directly from CashStar, which is kind of a catch-22 situation for me. I’m not sure if it will be fixed, but quite frankly, I have doubts that it will be fixed. :man_shrugging:

EDIT (May 27, 2022): They refunded the money like, 4 days ago. However, they still haven’t responded to my email yet.

Here to say that this is still an ongoing issue, trying to gift a friend some robux with a digital giftcard.

Tried calling support, said he would push it through, seems like he tried to, but some hours later, just got an email back saying “We apologize, but we are unable to process a Gift Card order for you at this time. Although your financial institution may have accepted the transaction, it could not be processed through our system. We have secure systems for card holder protection so we are unable to see why this order was unable to process.”

Which makes no sense because I can’t even get a reason as the buyer with why my transaction is not going through, so what ever secure system they have is not very helpful if they don’t even use it to bugfix their systems!

Edit, for reference, I know its not my card. I can use it on other websites, Steam, vending machines, cash registers, I use this card regularly and this is the only site that refuses my purchase.

Edit2: And my issue was even deemed solved! This was not solved!
