CANNOT EDIT GAME: I Rated my Game Wrong and Now I Cannot Edit the Game

HELP! I did the age questionnaire to see what it was, and my experience ended up being rated 17+.

IT IS NOT 17+. I clicked the strong language button, because I thought that was the normal Roblox filter and that the other was for games targeting really young audiences.

Now, I can’t edit my game because I am not 17+. This means that I can’t fix the issue. I contacted customer support, but they didn’t understand the issue and they just told me about controlling my child’s account. Repeatedly. I DON’T EVEN HAVE ONE!

I looked for solutions on dev forum, but there are no problems that are exactly like mine, only similar. I thought about reverting the version, but I don’t want to go back too far and I think that only changes the place, not the game.

This really makes no sense to me, because I can still play my game even though I can’t edit it. I can also edit the Places but not the game.

Short Version

I am not 17+, but I accidentally got my game rated 17+ because I misunderstood the questionnaire answer choices. Because of this, I cannot edit my game or change the age rating to something more reasonable, and I am hoping that somebody can fix it.

If you don’t believe that it isn’t 17+, here is the link to the game. If it isn’t published, you should know by now that I can’t change that. Please help :frowning:

PLEASE HELP?
This article doesn’t exactly get my hopes up, but I really hope it’s possible to fix this.

Edits

If I could even get just a copy of my game (it only has 1 place), that would be great.

Can you try downloadingthe game maybe from place versions? Then just upload the game again and archive that one.

That is a great idea and it would work if the last autosave wasn’t from 2 days before the game was last saved to Roblox. It’s better than nothing (so thank you), but I would have to redo a lot. If push comes to shove, I guess this file is what I will have to use. Thanks for the help.

I used a chrome extension for Roblox (i dont think ur allowed to mention them here) and it let me download my game. Woo hoo! Oops spoke too soon

So it didn’t work? I don’t think there is anything else you could do. It is your fault that you thought it was a good idea to set your game to 17+. Just keep spamming roblox support I guess.
