Cannot login to Roblox Studio

Hi,

Since yesterday I cant seem to login to Roblox Studio (see image)

This started happening when I updated my macOS to Tahoe 26.5.1 or after deleting roblox cache in ~/Library/Caches and plist files in ~/Library/Preferences (those were the only things I did before the issue started happening).

I tried many things and what seemed to work is:

  1. Flushing the DNS makes me able to login to roblox studio but then I cant really do anything as there is no connection to roblox
sudo dscacheutil -flushcache; sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder; sudo dscacheutil -configuration
  2. Turning on a VPN makes everything work as normally

Some more information:

  • I already tried switching to my mobile hotspot instead of the normal Wifi but it still didnt make me login
  • I also tried logging in to roblox studio trough the webbrowser but didnt work
  • Reinstalling Roblox Studio didnt work
  • Joining roblox games with the normal Roblox Player works fine

Expected behavior

I want to be able to just login to roblox studio without needing to have a VPN turned on

Hey,

Yeah the issue is still occuring on my device. I re-installed roblox studio yesterday with the RobloxStudio.dmg installer downloaded yesterday too. I have sent a log file to Logs / Crash Dumps / Other Bug Files.

Thanks

I figured out it was caused by a program called Qustodio (when it was uninstalled on my pc it worked fine again).
