Reproduction Steps

It looks like Roblox Studio is having one of those moments where you cannot save anything.

Expected Behavior

I expect to be able to save my work.

Actual Behavior

You cannot commit scripts, save, publish, etc., and the error message “Http status error (403) HTTP 403 (Forbidden),” is shown.
I have just been disconnected from my Team Create session as I am writing this without having my script changes committed.

Edit: After reconnecting the session it seems to be working, but since this happened so randomly I guess this still counts as a bug. I’m not sure what triggered it but I was committing scripts and changing some parts when this started to happen.

My internet connection is perfectly fine. The “Forbidden” message kind of hints at me not having access to perform those actions, but that can’t be the case either since I own the group the game is on. Perhaps there might be some error that causes Roblox to think I am unauthorized to perform those changes? Some rate limit perhaps that is disguised in a Forbidden message? I’m not sure, all I know is that something caused my session to become “locked” sort of, being unable to save it.

Are the other people in your session able to publish? If so than its probably either what you said: Roblox could have locked your permission.

Unable to reproduce. Both publishing and saving works fine for me.

I’m getting 502 errors sporadically when trying to open a place from studio

Getting these errors too, however my scripts commit and my places save eventually given a few tries. Seems to only be happening today; my internet is fine.

I am also still getting this error, I thought it was just a temporary internet problem thing but I tried using a different DNS, reconnecting to the internet, logging out and logging back in, restarting my PC. And I am still getting this error I can’t seem to do anything at all. Scripts wont work, places wont save, heck even my camera position wont save.

I can’t open Roblox Studio as well. Probably engineers shutting down a specific server for maintenance, i dunno.

EDIT: Roblox studio has now opened for me minutes later, however I’ve noticed that plugins are affected by this quirky issue as well.

Is this affecting sponsors? I just ran 200k in sponsors and only one of them has any impressions despite all showing as running. I can’t find mine reloading sponsors sort multiple times despite having 50k targeted towards the group I fit in with (male 13+ PC).

They’ve been running for nearly an hour now and I’m getting concerned my money is just being burned away.

EDIT: The sponsors are now showing up clicks, but 0 impressions. Now showing up on sort as well.

EDIT 2: Functionality seems restored, but I am quite positive that about an hour of the runtime on them was wasted.

Probably the servers going quirky again. But I think that if that’s affecting plugins and all the other stuff, then it’s probably gonna affect sponsorships as well. I dunno.

Looks like Roblox Status Live picked up on the increased ping times. Not the 502 errors yet.

I have been experiencing many issues across Roblox today.

I’m still able to access and playtest in Studio, though.

It’s probably just the start of the storm. When Roblox goes down, it comes crashing down, as we all know. Roblox doesn’t just hiccup, it’s either running 100% or not at all.

Only time shall tell.
