Actually I once dealt with this problem before and reinstalling the studio worked for me. I don’t know if anyone with this problem has tried it though.
Just reinstalled it, nothing will remedy the situation I’m stuck and unable to publish/overwrite any games.
So now im getting the same error.
The weird thing is that I have no upload icon and there is a upload icon. I think something is wrong and I reinstalled roblox studio by removing all of the files. It didn’t work.
Unless 46 responses weren’t enough, this issue suddenly came out of nowhere. At first, I thought it could’ve been a hardware ban but nothing linked up and I don’t recall doing anything to deserve one.
Just to explain the hardware ban, my friend had it for uploading innapropiate assets to roblox. I encouraged him not to & he was hardware banned.
Another thing that might contribute is signing in to accounts that have been logged in whilst getting a hardware ban. Because this is so related to a hardware ban, It might be a good thing to bring it up.
I did look through my host file to make sure it had nothing to do with my host websites.
I tried using TMAC (MAC Address Changer), the only thing that DID work was a VM.
The main question I’m trying to answer is; Hardware ban or network issues?
I’m having the issue too and it’s happened in the past weeks, including uploading models & publishing games.
Bug made impossible to use on pc, which forced me to use laptop as publishing games, uploading models, and more.
And after roblox update, pc became completely useless to use even on team create as it returns “Service is not avaliable”
It started happening to me today, I built something big and almost closed it, luckily I noticed that it didn’t public in time.
Another error I occurred:
same
I’m having the same exact issue as well!
Last night, it was working fine but all of a sudden, it’s not.
It seems to be fixed on laptop
I’m able to publish successfully
I’m having the same issue too. I also can’t seem to upload some meshes, it’s a hit or a miss and I get this error. A quick browse lead me to a post on the forum that suggests it might be server outage or overload?
This seems to be happening in spike, this is a May thread and suddenly myself and a few more people here are experiencing the issue
Unable to publish MeshPart: HTTP 503 (Service Unavailable)
Error while creating named asset: Could not upload MeshPart
When this happened to me, I let studio alone for a while, then I tried saving and it worked
Having the same issue as well. Publish failed. It only happened a few times for me. After a few times spamming Alt P it worked fine.
Okay, this seems to be a bug which has just started today.
Yesterday*
It’s been going on since yesterday afternoon. Figured it’d be fixed by the time I woke up, but no.
I seem to have the same issue, Game Explorer import fails for some reason, as well as publishing. However if you just retry it, it works although for the Game Explorer import some of the objects fail to import, so it’s really a hassle to retry them.
To add to this, for some reason the icon of the ‘failed to publish’ game randomly changes to a clothing template that probably someone has recently uploaded, which is very odd.
I’m actually having the same issue. I’m also getting this error with it:
14:02:34.103 - Server Publish Failure: HTTP (503): Service Unavailable
Same, although a lot of things are having issues right now on Roblox.
Can confirm I got the bug too, says that I cannot save or publish the game to the place. The only thing that works is Save to File.
Likely due to server load, been trying to upload the same mesh for ~10 minutes, it worked randomly but it imported wrong (separated objects), been retrying ever since, either Console 503s or Studio pop-up 503s.
