That isn’t a virus, that is inappropriate content. Plugin creators don’t have the tools to spot content like that. It’s better to use verified free models, best if you don’t use the toolbox’s free models at all.

oh come on

he could add a check if transparency is set to 1 its not that hard

of course checking only if transparency is set to 1 might trigger false positives so instead of instantly removing it just flag it in the GUI and do nothing about it let the human manually check it

As far as I know roblox doesn’t run an automated moderation tool on games that inspects all parts & their position / rotation to know if there’s inappropriate builds, if anything it comes down to game reports & screenshots.

This case is too niche and I’ve never heard of anything like this before.
If I was to add invisible parts to the warning list it would end up flooding it and it would be pretty overwhelming to anyone looking at it.

So I’ll say it again “you should always verify third-party content before implementing it in your game”.

Cerberus is meant to inspect scripts, not parts.

then what if you put some inappropriate model with the transparency set to 1?

Then go through the explorer and set it to 0

Honestly at this point you and EntyMmePlayrMmaeWork have to be trolling.

It’s an anti-virus, not an anti-innapropriate model. It is roblox’s job to moderate assets on the toolbox and in games.

roblox R34 got bypassed by being placed in a box anyways

also if it’s transparent, roblox won’t be able to detect it

im pretty sure you completely misunderstood the purpose of this resource

is this a joke or what because it made me laugh so hard

Yes. Roblox reads the reports that users send in. I should rephrase it, It’s roblox’s job to moderate the asset. Users will report it to give roblox a little edge.

@Mister33j LOL

well I heared thats how some people got banned because of inappropriate content in toolbox which was set transparency to 1

no im not trolling im just trying to say that some people got banned for that and i think that you should consider adding check for that anyway

back in the past roblox didnt give a single [bad word] about toolbox and they let inappropriate content inside the toolbox (i know that because searching up r34 inside toolbox back in the past would return lots of inappropriate content)

you could set transparency to 1 and then if you insert inappropriate content from toolbox that was transparency=1

well well your game is getting deleted and account probably too

I think roblox probs already patched that because they started moderating toolbox just recently

What do you even mean by that? It’s still a big problem. People find R34 models and packs through plugins like F3X Build Export, and plugins that this audience uses for malicious purposes. I’m just saying it’s roblox’s job to moderate stuff like that, and NOT ban people for stuff they don’t know about.

they patched search results of “r34” in toolbox

you can no longer find inappropriate content on the toolbox just by searching up “r34”

I had no idea about F3X build export

A TON of people use plugins that allow you to upload and export builds into a network anonymously. This is why you can get a bad model by just entering a random code into a plugin that allows for this such as F3X build export and stuff.
