In all honesty. I don’t see the point adding a popular near you section. It’s not relevant if you have nobody who plays in the platform around you. The feature will probably be a random amount of games just stacked up saying popular near you. I just don’t like this feature.

I feel like this will help to keep the front page fresh with new games, which I really appreciate. But at the same time this could really hurt some of the games that are typically on the front page.

I feel popular near you should stay lower, I can’t speak for others but I don’t particularly care whats popular near me, I would rather know whats generally just popular on the site.

I really hope this ends soon. I don’t plan on releasing my game until the popular sort is back on the top. Games reach the front of the popular page because players enjoy them. This change makes it harder for games that just released to explode in popularity.

Popular Near You should replace Popular & be at the very top right above Featured. Other than that, everything else seems fine.

Did anybody else also notice that on the home page the recently played turned into play buttons? You also can’t ctrl-click to open multiple games pages from the home page anymore either as they all just open the game icon.

Whilst it’s very cool that the Roblox Staff team are experimenting with ways of surfacing new and less popular games, I’m very glad the change has been reverted. You could see the CCU drop of legitimately good, new, innovative games and it was sad. Happy to see the team have taken feedback on board
