Changing default chat font to Garamond causes a tilde to be added to certain letters in succession

Play in studio, copy the default chat and paste in back in to edit it and preserve changes. (as usual)
Change in the client settings module the default font from the sans to Garamond. When typing letters like a for instance, in succession i.e. aardvark, it will tilde the first a instead of adding another, ãrdvark.

Could this be a bug report even, I wonder. Hopefully it just can be scripted around?

Is this the only font that this happens to? (this confirms that it’s not a translation thing)

I think it should be posted in bug reports.
