Some successive characters irregularly display as one with a tilde when using Garamond font

image

Garamond is atop showing off tilde a’s with the same input at bottom. The input given is image but the result uniquely differs; no other font does this.

I discovered this when I tried to change the default font of my games chat room to Garamond and couldn’t spell aardvark. It persists in all types of text.

To reproduce, just type AA into a text label using the garamond font.

I was recommended to file a report in my original post Changing default chat font to Garamond causes a tilde to be added to certain letters in succession

Hi @MrGreystone - I’m able to reproduce this issue as well. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, I’ve created a bug for us to investigate this.

Apologies for the necromancy, but this issue still exists.

That’s supposed to say “Lucky Drop III”, not… that.

Necropost but this does exist, still.

Also, I found out it happens with ‘A’ ‘I’ and ‘U’.
