Reproduction Steps
After the chat background fades out to transparent, tap in the area where the chat input box would be. Your text will remain invisible until it either “breaks to a new line” (separate bug), or until you unfocus and re-focus the text input.
Expected Behavior
I would expect my text to be visible while I am typing into the chat input.
Actual Behavior
Chat text is invisible until either unfocused and re-focused or until the line “breaks” (although text doesn’t actually wrap on mobile?). Oddly, the text input cursor shows up occasionally too.
This happens in both portrait and landscape views, and in multiple experiences.
Workaround
Either:
- unfocus and re-focus the text input
- allow the chat to fade in before typing
- type until the text “breaks” into a new line (although text isn’t actually wrapping, but the box still expands)
