Clothing Marked as Content Deleted, Can Still Be Purchased and Worn

Reproduction Steps
I have 4 assets that can still be worn, but appear missing in-game and on the website. The assets still appear in my group’s shop, but wearing the items don’t display any textures at all. I’ve tried reuploading the same files but they are marked as “content deleted”, with the Content Deleted icon. In-game, the clothing also does not render.

These assets were uploaded over a year ago, and were randomly removed. I’ve tried appealing them but they say the items aren’t moderated whatsoever. This isn’t just affecting me, either. Players have reported to me that they can wear the items but they don’t appear in-game.

Expected Behavior
Items can be worn and display on their avatar both in-game and on the website.

Actual Behavior
No textures appear, both in-game and on the website.

All the assets can still be worn and display as fine on the Avatar page, as well as on the group store.

Same assets have the “Content Deleted” thumbnail

These assets don’t display in-game. Doesn’t show the “default clothing” either, since the game thinks the clothes are working properly.

Workaround
There is no workaround. I’ve tried reuploading one of the affected files, Cheshy Top, and found that it is immediately deleted.

This same thing has happened to me but with this garment that I had 1 year ago, it looks like it is but when I put it on it looks like this.

I’m surprised this still hasn’t been fixed despite Roblox claiming they did so: Default Shirt and Pants To Be Applied If The Requested Ones Are Unavailable/Moderated

Same thing happens to me with a denis shirt that doesn’t have content deleted.

This happens to clothes that were reported for being copied assets.
Problem is many “copied” outfits don’t have a warning about how they don’t work.
Original copies might also be affected by it - it happened to me after I reported copies of my work.

oh well. I remember wearing it back in 2017-2018. Sad it was gone. They should really add a warning for such things.

Did Roblox ever fix the issue for you? It’s really unfortunate that this is happening to these assets given that the outfits are being produced as toys in the future…

I reported the issue to them myself and my shirt is not invisible anymore.

I contacted the Roblox Appeals team and they literally told me this:

There is no workaround. I’ve tried reuploading one of the affected files, Cheshy Top, and found that it is immediately deleted.

When you re-upload the exact same thing over again, it’ll be automatically declined as the original is cached. Change a singular pixel to get it back into the moderation queue. [For clothing, change a pixel outside of the “clothing” area, i.e. in the mask.]

I see. I’d rather not create a whole new asset, though, as I don’t want people to have to re-purchase it and all.
