I uploaded items over a week ago and their thumbnails have still not appeared on the site. I think this may have been posted about before but it has been a few weeks and my assets are still showing blank. New items I upload immediately show up as a blank thumbnail and never show the correct item. This seems to occur 80% of the time, I’ve had four thumbnails render properly but all the others fail to load.
I use these thumbnails to display the clothing players are about to buy in my game, their failure to load is discouraging players from purchasing items.
Here are links to the assets that are not loading. Please note, these items were not moderated, they are approved and can be seen and worn by other players when the actual item is loaded into the game; The issue is with the thumbnails. Is there any way to force these items to load properly or will I have to reupload them? Right now, uploading has a low chance of success.
So about a month ago, a strange bug has been happening when I go to upload any new shirts or pants. They upload normally, but then they don’t appear when they’re viewed. Even when they’ve been approved. They don’t show up. Just the blank robloxian model. They show up on the player sometimes when selected on the avatar page, and some show when viewed on their own page, but most do not. Its started around March 18th. Also I’m not the only one seeing this issue, they’re also experiencing the same problem.
Also running into this. Can’t tell if they are still being moderated or if I should attempt reuploading. These specific textures I’m uploading have never been on the website before (so it can’t be the case that they were previously moderated already).
EDIT: They have now passed through moderation and I can wear them and it shows fine on the website and in-game, but the icons on the clothing asset pages are still blank and the 3d view doesn’t show the clothing either.
It has been happening a lot with my clothing. I made a checkered shirt and it is a blank thumbnail! Same goes for my pants, Joshuaborn’s pants with slip on sneakers.
Right as I uploaded them, I put them on (This may have caused the bug to occur?) and now, after they have been approved, they no longer appear on my avatar preview on the website as well as the clothing preview in 3d or 2d.
The only places you can actually see them is in the game and sometimes in the inventory
Same issue. Here are two of my shirts to add to the long-running list of examples. One of these shirts sometimes shows up in the thumbnail but not when you go to its page.
Ok, this is still going on and the issue is a problem in game as well as these thumbnails are used for in game product purchases and the users cannot see what they are purchasing.
How do we elevate this issue to get some attention from Roblox on this?
