Overview
Hello any developer out there currently looking for a job, project, or anything along those lines. I am TheAcousticDev, a builder and storyline writer for a few currently existing and future upcoming games on Roblox. I am in the process of creating the guidelines for a new game I am planning to develop (and hopefully finish) in 2018. I, however, am not capable of doing everything alone, so I am looking towards a few of you guys to help.
Main Premise of the Game
The game is known as CODE R.E.D., and it is based within a city during the Industrial Revolution. To give a basic rundown without giving too many details, the game comprises of 12 players, and all 12 are split into three different groups: the Syndicates (8), the Guards (3), and the Target (1). The Target has a specific goal inside of the game, and the Guards job is to protect the Target from getting found and assassinated by the Syndicates. Regardless of whether the guards are capable of achieving such a task, the game will eventually undergo a “CODE RED” state, in which all of the Syndicates will have a limited amount of time to leave the area. The goal the Target has to undergo revolves around a particular object, and the winning or losing of each map depends on whether the Target leaves the area with the object, one of the Syndicates leaves with the object, or the object stays within the area. The information given to each role, however, is limited, making the player have to use their thinking caps to tell who is who and try to figure out who they are trying to kill, and who is trying to kill them.
Roles
I am looking for 1-5 developers to help create this game. I will help as much as I am capable of doing so, however in some categories, it may be limited (which is why I’m asking for aid of course). I am mainly looking for one of each role, but if multiple find interest and I find interest in multiple, I may pick them out. Work being done will obviously be supervised by, and will have help provided by, me to the fullest of my possibilities. The developers I am looking for, as well as what they are going to be doing, are as follows:
- Builder (2 currently): The builder will be helping, well, build obviously, the maps of the game, as well as helping build the lobby. These places will be heavily themed off of a 19th century heavily industrial city. Photos of reference as well as descriptions of the maps and lobby will be provided in order to aid with the building of the maps.
Scripter (2 currently): The scripter will be programming a lot of the stuff that goes on throughout the game. This includes basic scripts for the weapons (not too complex functions, but still well enough that it works like a regular gun), currency and item datastores, map voting and generating, NPC movement and interaction, player loading into the maps, random role assignments, and other tasks that will help the game actually function. (I am considering looking for a second one, as I know scripting can be a lot of place on the shoulders of a single individual)UI Designer (1 currently): The UI Designer will simply be creating any UI needed for the game. This includes, but is not limited to, the Developer Product menus, the shop menus, the end-game reward menus, and the pre-game role display.- ~`Clothing Designer (1 currently): The clothing designer will simply be creating some of the clothing that players wear in the game. This will mainly comprise of color changing outfits, such as suits or coats or vests. These clothing articles will be influenced by the time period of the game, so examples will be provided for the designer.~~

Music Creator (1 currently): The music creator will be creating the music in which plays throughout the game. This includes the lobby music(s), the music in the maps of the games, and the end-game-menu music. All of this music will be heavily themed off of the music of the 19th century, so examples will be provided to help support that.
Payment
Time to knock this question out of the way. Payment is currently at an estimation standpoint. It is guaranteed that all of the developers who work alongside me will receive both automatic robux compensation after all the work is said and done, as well as a percentage of the profit in total the game makes, both of which will be based on how much work each person does. To balance it out, and due to my current financial robux status, everyone will start out with 20k robux and 12% of the profit. This compensation percentage will go up or down depending on how much work you do for the game.
Conclusion
Well, that’s honestly all I have to say for right now. More details about all of this will of course arise once someone decides they want to join the game’s development creation. However, to keep it short and simple and to make sure that not too many of the ideas spill out, this is what will be provided for now. TD;LR: Looking for a builder, scripter, ui designer, clothing designer, and music composer for CODE R.E.D… Code Red is a 19th century based game with players tracking down and killing other players to stop them from achieving specific goals. Roles will receive, originally, 20k robux and 12% of total profit, but this will change over time based on how you perform. Each role will be assigned specific tasks to do based on their job, and all of these tasks will be supervised and aided, whenever possible, by me to insure the best quality and procedure of the game’s execution.
EDIT: Due to requests via other developers, I am adding a minimum and maximum profit section. This will show what the minimum and maximum profits for every developer are. Certain jobs with more work required will have higher minimums and maximums than those with less work required jobs. The minimum and maximums are below:
Builder
Minimum: 10k robux, 6% profit
Current: 20k robux, 12% proft
Maximum: 30k robux, 20% profit
Scripter
Minimum: 16k robux, 10% profit
Current: 20k robux, 12% profit
Maximum: 50k robux, 32% profit
UI Designer
Minimum: 15k robux, 8% profit
Current: 20k robux, 12% profit
Maximum: 25k robux, 18% profit**

Minimum: 5k robux, 5% profit

Maximum: 25k robux, 18% profit**
Music Composer
