Color Coding Assets in Explorer/Studio

Keeping organised is hard, especially with bigger games that involve more assets and members involved.

I propose the idea of color coding to be implemented into the Explorer tab and others applicable: this will allow us to stay organised and quickly be able to differentiate specific assets.

I believe this would improve the QOL of developers, as well as improving accessibility for all users. Many other applications benefit from this organisation system; it allows organised collaborative editing and the ability to portray information easily to other users for example: red = not finished, green = finished.

Below I have created an image of how it could look/function, editing the Color Code via Properties.

(i made that image very quickly, there are hundreds of ways you could color code other than bars, this is just one example)

This would definitely make it easier to navigate in the Workspace.

Love this idea.

I would find this useful, especially if plugins had the ability to modify the rendering in the official explorer and properties panes.

please not a brickcolor though

Seems more fundamental than the constant use of folders, Colour co-ordination would be cool to highlight specific models, such as, “Green,” For trees and, “Gray,” For Rocks. Seems like it would be much easier to navigate between the models for quicker sorting.

Good Idea, I like it.
