It would be very helpful if the file path of studio stayed consistent.
Every week or so when Roblox Studio has an update, the file path changes causing a few issues:
Firewall detects it as a new software and requires new permissions
Any shortcuts (including on the taskbar) are obsolete and need to be fixed
Finding the filepath to the program is always a chore as it keeps changing
As far as I’m aware this is like the only piece of software I’ve ever seen do something like this, I can’t imagine that it’s an impossible ask to stop this from happening.
This is a constant issue for me, every week when its Roblox update day I have to manually create a new rule in my Firewall because Roblox and Roblox Studio keep getting blocked since the path of the program changes to something unexpected.
This also breaks any Pin to Taskbar icons on Windows 10/11 which is super annoying!
