Controller 'radial menu' simple suggestions

[ol]
[li]The B button and the text back should be directly under the radial menu instead driftly-looking on the bottom right. [/li]
[li]Chat, Backpack, Leaderboard should be moved onto the top 3 segments, Settings, Leave game and notifications should be on bottom three[/li]
[li]The leave place segment should be tinted a slightly darker shade.[/li]
[li]Instead of Blue for every segment it would be nice if it had different colours for each segment or 3 colours one colour and 3 another[/li]
[li]Very hard to see the ‘Back’ text on a white background, maybe a border/drop shadow around it?[/li]

Overall, I think the first one is the nicest, that way I can also associate a colour with that segment and seems the most friendly

Have the radial menu open and press ESC on your keyboard to get both

I personally wouldn’t want the core guis to look better than the actual content inside of a game. It could be a potential distraction from the game itself by just simply being there. Having it out of view (like in the top bar where it is right now) and in view whenever you need it makes it good as it is right now. Although, nice concept in general though!

This is already implanted into ROBLOX as CoreGUI for controllers? I’m just making suggestions to tweak/improve it. To bring it up in-game press the start button on a controller it’s the ROBLOX in-game menu just for controllers.

I think the biggest problem with moving the Chat, Backpack and PlayerList to the top of the radial menu is that developers can turn these off. This would lead to the radial menu looking much worse in games that have all of these disabled.

In the best case scenario they should be removed from the radial menu if the developer has disabled them. For now all you can do is upload separate images for menus with 3,4,5, and 6 menu items, but it’d be better to just create a feature to do this properly if that’s something ROBLOX wanted to do.

This isn’t really ideal because once players learn the positions of things on the radial menu it should be nearly automatic to open what they want. You don’t want to have to open the menu and then see what configuration it’s in.

Will the icon for it just disappear like below?

If so would this be any better?

That particular segment crossed out (okay it would look better than my bad ‘rough’ please ignore the leave game being a darker gradient as I forgot to change that) with the little hint in the middle showing something like one of the following

Chat
(unavailable)

Chat
(dev controlled)
