Currently I’m laying out plans for a Roblox flag store game that serves as a game store for my clothing group and a general miniature flag museum. In a way, there is a part reserved for American patriotic shirts, U.S. state flags, military tribute insignia, etc. In that area, I want small replicas of notable American buildings such as the Empire State Building, White House, World Trade Center, Washington Monument, etc. nearby, but while I am aware there is not really an issue with making a game with a replica of the Twin Towers in a normal way, I feel like placing a miniature model of them in a room decorated with American flags would be interpreted as breaking the rules on “referencing tragic events” despite no mention of them whatsoever in the game.
Should I avoid including them? add nearby buildings to make it seem less like an unintentional reference to the attacks? or should I be fine with how it is?
There are a few games with the twin towers world trade centre and they’re all up without problems, just don’t mention the attacks in any way and it’s fine
From what I know about Roblox moderations, they would probably allow it since you’re not referencing the event (like having planes fly into the WTC), and it’s not offensive which in this case it’s not, so I think you’re good, and people have published wtc games to the platform pre-tragic event without getting banned because it’s not showing the tragic event. Like I said you should be good, best wishes on your game, I really like the concept of a museum and a clothing group combined for a game.
