Notice a spelling mistake
Fix the spelling mistake
Notice a grammatical error
Fix the grammatical error
Decide to re-write the whole paragraph instead
Expected behavior:
The edit counter at the top of the post is accurate and indicates how many times someone has edited a post
Actual behaviour:
Do you have any evidence that particles are a significant rendering cost? From what I know from my experience of scouring Microprofiler graphs, usually the most expensive part of the scene is rendering opaque geometry (Id_Opaque label) like Parts and MeshParts, which literally make up most of the game world. Meanwhile, I’ve never seen a significant amount of rendering time go to particles. You can check yourself by looking for the Id_Transparent Microprofiler label.

Workaround:
Don’t edit posts, just spam someone’s notifications and constantly delete and re-post the same reply with a few very minor differences over and over. This way, your eyes will not grace this unsightly bug.

Something is counted as an edit when 5 minutes has passed OR a huge part of the post is edited

Detailed description of bug;
When I edit a post, the orange pencil comes out saying one, sometimes when I edit the post, it will still assay one
When it started happening;

When I read it, I found out about why editing posts doesn’t always give one edit
