I ran a few test sponsors for console and found that for some reason it was reporting 0 clicks and therefore 0 cost per click.

I ran this console sponsor just after I unprivated my game, and waited for the entire day just to find out I got +0 visits, and 0 on everything in sponsor besides the impressions.
I got 1.3M impressions, while having 0 clicks, 0 attributed visits and 0 actual gained visits.
This means I got scammed 1K robux, because the sponsor didn’t do anything. Hopefully I get refunded.

You should wait a couple days, check your engagement stats and sort by platform since I’m fairly certain this is purely a visual bug. Mine was bugged as well and reported 0 but after checking engagement stats I could very clearly see that it had significantly affected our console playerbase (indicating that the console sponsors were working), however this still needs to be fixed as soon as possible since the point of those numbers is to report how effective your sponsor was.
Here’s a detailed report of my current situation. Hopefully it speeds up the process.
Description
I sponsored my game yesterday for 1,000 Robux for “Console”, to find out I got 0 visits from 1.3M impressions. My game has access for console players and access is set to public. I also ran another sponsor for 3,000 Robux for “Console”. Currently it’s been running for 17 hours and I got 0 visits from 1.4M impressions. I would like a refund for both of these sponsors, and a fix in “Console” sponsorship system, thank you.
Have you considered that there’s basically no console players? Ads do bad enough there to begin with, and when you consider most of the ad space is taken up by the big names who can afford to dump a ton into console ads it makes perfect sense that you’d get zero clicks.
Although I’m speaking for them, yes they did. Judging by your post, you have never ran a console sponsor for your game.
Have you considered that they have “attributed visits” not as a 0? Meaning it’s a visual bug, you can’t just get x amount of attributed visits with 0 clicks.
But in my case I got 0 attributed visits, and 0 actual visits while having almost 2.8M impressions, which is not a visual bug, but an entire website bug.
I don’t think you’re actually understanding the post. Our sponsor has over a million impressions, 1k+ attributed visits, but 0 clicks. How can a sponsor have attributed visits but no clicks.
Same with me. Also I remember bug, when i spent 2k robux for advertising, got 0 visits because i cancelled it, but they haven’t refund me any robux… Nice ig
I’m having the same issue. 0 CPC. I cannot continue running sponsored ads for console until this is fixed and it’s having an impact on my console playerbase.
Same issue but my whole sponsor stats are completely bugged, not just cpc.
You can see this doesnt make any sense, the CPP is also tremendiously high for all of my sponsors while my CTR is over 1.6%. I believe there is a visual but maybe also a real issue (non-visual) with the sponsor system rn.
CPP is 19.63?! I believe this isnt just a visual issue but my game barely gets any ccu from 25000 robux spent daily. The visit length is very good as well as monetization. How is this possible?
Thank you for reporting this issue. We have identified a bug in our click tracking for sponsored experiences on console. We have since fixed the issue. During the bug, clicks were not reported; visits that occurred post click were misattributed in reporting as post impression visits. Unfortunately we are not able to backfill the data.
Are we positive that this has been fixed? I’ve been on-off following this issue via FP for the past month and I believe what he said still holds true. I have yet to attempt to sponsor an older game, but when sponsoring games from July and August as he’s said, console sponsors appear to just be thrown away and result in no added visits. Either they aren’t actually being displayed to players or something else.
For reference, here is an example of one of my test console sponsors. Note, I also attempted this yesterday when the bug was said to be fixed, but the result was essentially the same:
Compared to another couple test sponsors for tablet and phone. All of my sponsors for this specific experience have a ctr of 3.5+ up to 5+, so I find it statistically just too hard to believe this is due to a severe lack of interest. See attached:
I believe this issue is still around. Again, I’m not sure about older experiences, but this is absolutely an issue for games from July-August as FP said. If not, it could be a problem that goes back even earlier.
The only reason I tried testing in the first place was because we were told that it had been fixed, but the data I’ve presented shows it’s just too unrealistic to claim that right now. Do you think you could dig a little deeper?
