I thought it was just me, but apparently its happening for everyone else (see tweet below). When I tried to create a new group place, it directs me to an error 404 page. I waited for another two hours to see if this issue has resolved and nothing has changed. The error 404 still pops up.
I also tried creating a new place on my iPad Pro and still, error 404.

The same thing happened to me. The fix is to make it from the studio application.
You can also fix it by removing the extra ID at the end of the URL.
For example, say your URL looks like this:
https://www.roblox.com/places/create/1849274/1849274
You’d simply remove the extra “1849274” at the end to get the following url:
For whatever reason it adds an extra instance of the Group ID at the end of the URL.
Also, this bug report should not have a solution marked even if there’s a workaround if the bug isn’t fixed yet. This is still a bug that needs to be fixed; marking a solution shows that the bug no longer exists at a glance.

Whenever I try to make a new place within my groups I am met with a 404 error “page not found”. However, I am able to create a place on my profile. I’m using google chrome.
It looks like the Create button takes you to a URL with the ID mistakenly duplicated:
Wrong: https://www.roblox.com/places/create/ID/ID
Correct: https://www.roblox.com/places/create/ID
@2Hex Thank you for reporting this issue! And sorry for the trouble, everyone! We are aware of this issue and fixing it. This issue was also reported in this thread: Create New Group Game button has ID of group attached to the end, leading to 404 page.
I’ll update the thread when we have the fix deployed.
