As a Roblox developer, it’s currently hard to see the asset IDs for development items.
Currently, you need to click on the 3 dots and then on the copy asset ID to get the ID.
But there’s no way to see it without opening the page itself.
Having the ability to see the ID on the page itself would be good for;
- Easy checking if the ID in your table is correct or in studio (specially would be useful combined with the play button suggestion for audio)
- Quickly way to copy the asset ID (However another issue would need to be addressed first, as stated below the pictures)
- A good overview
Here’s a preview of how it could look on the audio page. Ignore the play buttons, they are from a different suggestion.
Animation page
Problem with making this suggestion even more useful, currently it’s impossible to select strings/text on the pages itself. Meaning you can’t select the IDs if it was showed on the audio/animations page.
- Currently is open the configuration page no matter what way you try to select the text
- Double-clicking fast should allow you to select the text, in this case the asset ID
- Selecting the text manually
If Roblox is able to address this issue, it would improve the work flow greatly.
