Creator Hub Store 'Saved' tab not showing anything

Wanted to check on an Audio sound today and got a pop-up that read:

“Favorites are now Saved”
“Visit the Saved tab to view and organize your favorite Creator Store assets.”

Okay…?
When going to that link/page @ https://create.roblox.com/store/saved however, nothing appears under the ‘Saved’ tab.

Maybe it’s a bug and they’re two separate things now? No clue. Favourited/Saved a new Audio sfx asset giving it that bookmark rather than the star
image

And yet again, nothing shows under ‘Saved’.
Not sure what’s supposed to show here and what it’s supposed to look like, as there’s nothing about this yet (no topic on the forum, no results on the web)

It is supposed to look like this?

or this?

Bit messy when both would need another filter to view/display the right assets again too, as ‘Saved’ seems like another asset category.

Whilst writing this I’m waiting for something to load or show, but nothing is happening either.
The audio I just favourited doesn’t even show up under my ‘favorites’ either because of this change, so at this point the ‘Saved’ tab is more broken than adding anything of value :grimacing:

Hey @milanomaster, thanks for reporting. Can you confirm if this still happening or if the page eventually loaded? We are looking into the cause here, you should be seeing a new Saved page much like those lovely mockups you drew :joy:

Aha, glad you like them!
I checked the Saved tab today again and nothing’s showing up. Not sure if there’s a way to check/display a potential loading status in case that’s what’s happening?

Tried waiting it out from 22:10 to 22:25 (~ 15 minutes) and still nothing’s showed up.
When I checked on another account, I found that it still showed the Favorite option the way I’ve had it previous myself too. (note the star on the left)

VS What I see on this account. (note the bookmark on the right)

The ‘Saved’ tab in general isn’t present for the other account either, and the ‘Explosion’ sound effect I favourited nicely goes to the Audio tab @https://www.roblox.com/users/USER_ID/favorites#!/audio

Whereas on this account it no longer goes to my Favorites and meanwhile (currently 22:38) still doesn’t show anywhere on the ‘Saved’ tab in the Creator Store :man_shrugging:

Sounds like we have a lead on the issue and a fix is in the works!

Not seeing the tab on other accounts is as expected, we have a very small A/B test running right now and most likely your other account isn’t enrolled.

Good to hear! Hope to see what the page looks like soon - perhaps close to one of the two sent above

(in the meantime I’m back [temporarily] to the previous version too. Quickly looked up the Audio I bookmarked which didn’t appear under my favourites that day and favourited it again now. It now shows in my favourites)

We excluded your account from the experiment for the time being. This error should be fixed once we launch the new Saved feature! Just need to update all the designs based on your mockups jk jk :stuck_out_tongue:

I hope you enjoy all the new capabilities def give us feedback once you’ve had a chance to use it!

Fix confirmed! Your account has been re-enrolled into the experiment branch. Can you confirm everything looks good on your end?

Sweet, that was a quick one. I’m in now :ok_hand:

Can see some resemblance to the sketches I had, but here it’s obviously a lot cleaner and with many more features :eyes:
I enjoy how they’re all quickly accessible under one ‘Saved’ tab

A look at the features:

  • Ability to look up by name or keyword

I’m given a ‘no results for the current filters’ message, but when I clicked the ‘x’ in the search bar, swapped to the Creator Store’s Video tab, then back to ‘Saved’ and then typed the the word again, I did get a nice quick selection of my assets Saved. Very useful, especially when trying to find a specific asset that you’d otherwise find somewhere hidden on page …46 or so. Much quicker this way :happy2:

|

  • Option to hide already owned assets from the list
    image

Probably more useful to others, but always welcome

|

  • Filter by asset type (Audio, Decal, Model, etc.)

Great for sorting, with easy access to all categories.

|

  • Selection boxes to select individual, multiple or the entire page

I personally love keeping all, but for those looking to ‘clean up’ their favorites/bookmarks/saved assets this is neat. Saves you a lot of work, especially when clicking the topleft box for the entire page at once. Additionally it allows you to change the page display size to 30, 50 or 100 - even quicker.

*later noticed there’s also the bookmark icon on the right when hovering over an asset in the list. Clicking it to unlist it is even one click less than checking the box and then ‘remove’.

|

  • Way to reverse-sort the date of favoriting/bookmarking/saving

Might not be the first thing you spot, but surely useful. No need to click back tens of pages. When clicking it, I did find I’d see different results every now and then, proving that it wasn’t very accurate. In the image it shows may 2016 as being the earliest I saved, but after some more button clicking (I believe I went to the Video tab and then back to ‘Saved’ again) it showed me some 2014 - which I think IS accurate now.

Applying the sort option works there too. Perhaps the loading/display of date saved not being 100% accurate and search not giving any results yet were/are some first-use teething problems as I don’t get any ‘errors’ no more

Some other things I did notice:

  • The Price seems to always be ‘Free’, with the exception of items you already own saying ‘Owned’

Strangely enough when clicking on an older Audio that’s now no longer available, the asset itself does read that it’s not currently for sale. It’s technically free, but at the same time not available.

Not sure if there could be an ‘Offsale’ tag on the Saved tab to indicate this, or perhaps nothing at all which might be even more clear.
Who knows even some people may like to quickly find these and remove them from the list. Hope I don’t shoot my own foot with this, as I love still having them here and would be paranoid if suddenly it were gone from the list despite me knowing it existed! (PS 2 images are edited)

I do assume there is a $4.99 Price for some Plugins (I didn’t know they cost dollars instead of robux now). When trying to add one to my saved list so see what they’d look like, I found that upon clicking the bookmark icon it kept loading for a little…
    image
…and then show me an error, not marking the asset as saved

*they did not show up in my list either
*same thing when I tried to add an Audio to my list, it also errored and did not mark or add it

|

|

  • Typing a search in the searchbar will also take into account the name of the uploader

Pretty neat how it’s essentially two searches in one, though there might be instances where you’re looking for uhh.. maybe Zombie sounds and ‘zombie’ shows you all 30 uploads of ‘zombieman482’
Doubt this will really be an issue, but who knows it’s something that other users may experience

|

  • There’s no ability to quickly preview an Audio

This is something I’ve been missing ever since September/October last year, when suddenly the favorites page didn’t show audio, the icon image got shrunk and the preview button disappeared on Inventory audio. Then later some of these bugs were fixed, but the preview button in the inventory kept missing. Later that year the preview button under favorites also disappeared, which really made browsing and previewing audio to find a good one a lot more circuitous. Here’s a report on it Missing audio preview buttons for Inventory, Favourites & Creations
It was greatly convenient to have. You’d click 6 times and bam- you knew which audio (SFX) to pick. No need to open new tabs and swap between them every time to determine which fit better.

Would be great to have this be brought back. As for the new Saved tab, it would be a great help too, as it (combined with the new searchbar) would make it even better to find the right sound :folded_hands:

Related to that, the cutout image shows 12 of the 30 audios displayed on your favourites or inventory tab. Similarly to the preview button, it’s very easy to look at them at once this way.
It would be great to see some sort of ‘layout’ or ‘display-type’ on the Saved tab.
A way to select or toggle between list and grid view.

The current display is list view, but ‘grid’ would show them similarly to how your Inventory or Marketplace does.

As for the last thing it’s more of a question or possibly slight concern*
With all these categories now being under the Saved tab in the Creator Hub and these newly favourited/saved/bookmarked assets no longer showing up there (correct me if I’m wrong. I’m going off from when the page didn’t load and when the audio didn’t appear there. I can’t test it noww because of the error mentioned in this message), what will happen to these categories in your favorites list?

Will they disappear?
Will they be greyed out like in this edited image?

Will the category tab be there, but upon clicking give a similar (but more detailed) message similar to the Avatar Settings in studio?

Will they be some sort of legacy place where you can still find them, but not your newly added ones?
Or will it also be updated, alongside the Saved page on the Creator Hub?

*because I love the favourite page, despite the preview button still missing. If the entirety of the previously favourited assets keep showing up on the Saved tab and a grid layout + preview button for audio are there then I’m all sold! :100:

My apologies if the read is too long, I only now noticed I’ve been in this draft window for 2-3 hours.
Wanted to touch and document all of my findings (thus far?) :happy3:

Overall I enjoy the page and it been great to finally find all my saved ‘fire’ or ‘explosion’ sound effects in one go. Hopefully some of these findings, thoughts and suggestions up here will be of use :')

So glad things are working and thanks for the super thorough feature review. We caught one more issue that could be causing some of your hangups/errors and have another fix coming for that shortly. You are one of the very rare few with many thousands of saves and it has been a nice pressure test for us.

Haha apparently one of my eng added this and removed it to test that things were all working sorry about that!

Could you tell me a little bit more about when, where, and how you end up favoriting audio before? Would you expect anything to change between how you save on store and when you may favorite elsewhere on Roblox?

Noted on all this and all the other feature requests! If you have anything else to add it’d be helpful to hear more about how you’ve used favorites before and how we could improve Saved on Store. I can pass along feedback to the folks who manage that page on the player app/website side of things if there are any profile/player specific things you like to do that differ from your creator/developer/store side.

Very much welcome!
Ooo, I knew I had a lot saved, but cool to know it really is all the way up there
(not that it’s a competition, and I used to have even more – I noticed around 300 are removed somehow). Perhaps the amount of favourited/saved assets is why I’ve landed in the experiment, though that’s merely me guessing :eye:

The placeholder there proved useful in the end. It allowed me to use/test the ‘unmark’ feature for it :face_with_tongue:

As for the bugs at that time:
First came the ‘missing preview button’ for Inventory audio (favorites page still had the button at that time).
Then about 1-2 weeks later the audio image had shrunk and the audio tab under favorites didn’t show anymore (these two were fixed late October)
About half a year later in May (2025) the audio on the favorites also lost its preview button
so right now the preview button for both inventory & favorites are still missing

As for when/where/how I like to favourite audio:
It’s somewhat similar to bookmarking memories or archives, but also to basically create a convenient folder of items I may end up using later. I could technically have the Workspace list in Studio overflow with sound instances and browse from there, but that’s nowhere as convenient as having grids of different audio readily available to check back on, find the right one by clicking the preview button (that’s missing now), copying the ID and bam pasting it in the game/experience to use.
That’s why it’s great especially to have a search bar now too on the web with the new Saved page. Hopefully a grid view + preview button too? :folded_hands:
There’s also something satisfying about collecting things (I love doing the same with photos, Google Maps locations, old YouTube videos, etc.)
As for finding and adding them, it’s always great to have or build a backlog whenever you come across something. Trying tolook for the right sound when you need it on the spot can sometimes be a tedious and outright impossible task. That’s why these small efforts of favouriting/bookmarking/saving one that sounds neat the moment you find it can really help you later :happy3:
When there’s a model with a sound in it that I like and may want to use in future projects (even 5+ years later), I favourite it to one day use it again. When it’s good, I also love to check out the person’s other audio, which can be very tedious as it’s potentially a lot of pages… Well worth it in the end though!
Also used it to gather cool music back then to play on my Jailbreak boombox without having to find it in the Library again. Unfortunately this doesn’t apply anymore with the 2022 (?) audio changes related to copyright, where many - especially music - are now unavailable.
It’s convenient and efficient to find back audio without clicking all different links, trying to find and open the right place in studio where you may or may not have the Sounds in the workspace. In the end it’s satisfying to have and saves a lot of time not tirelessly looking for the audio (SFX) that sounds just right when you’ve already saved it earlier that year or even back in 2016.
It’s neat to write down facts or things you’ve learned to quickly find back in case you have to fact-check that what you’re telling a friend is true

And awesome! Hopefully they’ll be of use ^^
For me personally it’s grid view and preview button that I’d like to see (edited concept image)

Perhaps that I’m missing something that others love (an audio length or model part count filter?) but I can’t speak for them

I am however still unable to add new assets to my saved list:

Hopefully that will work soon again too, as I already have new stuff that I wish to save :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

if I had to hedge a guess this is likely a “fix” we included where moderated assets no longer appear like they would before as empty entries on your favorites

Awesome to hear! We are considering adding a “collections” feature to Saved in the future that would actually let you make your own folders of Saved items. Will likely be a ways out but I’m glad it sounds like this would be a useful feature for you! Is this something you usually pair with while you are working in Studio? Have you tried the new Asser Manager?

Oh no! Will flag to engineering to look into this :frowning:

Ah, thought so already. Thanks for the confirmation!

Collections seem interesting. How audio names such as ‘birds’, ‘chirp’, ‘campfire’, ‘crackling flame’ and ‘thunder’ could be listed under the same folder. Same probably for ‘beam effect decals’ or ‘flipbooks’ for particles, or a different set of both models, audio and meshes under ‘update v2.4’ or some :open_file_folder::eyes:
Might indeed be useful. Especially when one can be apart of multiple groups or collections. If you give it a tag ‘v2.4’ and a tag ‘enemy sounds’ (and possible another in the future) it will show up in both rather than being restricted under one selection only :open_mouth:

I didn’t have the revamped Asset Manager beta on. It seems a lot more ‘featurous’ than the previous as it now includes all your inventory assets. I don’t work in teams much, but easy acces to shared and group assets seems useful too.

I like the grid view along with the slider.
Not 100% sure why some appear with a different icon, but with either a double click or rightmouse-> insert they’re in.

Still no preview button here either
Although it’s less of a loss here since you’re inside studio already, it still takes swapping between the newly inserted Sound instances to listen between one or the other to find what’s right.
I might try the new Asset Manager out some more in the future – as it does have a search bar – but I find my Inventory page chill and simple (except for that missing preview button) as well for now.
I couldn’t find any favorites/saved section in the Asset Manager, but that’s where the ‘Favorites’ & ‘Saved’ pages work well - especially because they are on the web where I can check whenever.

Sounds great. I eagerly await it being back on so I can add new findings to the list :happy1:

Btw we officially launched today! Creator Store Favorites are now Saved [Sunsetting + Migration]

When I wrote this, I knew there was a very small % of folks who had hundreds little did I know I’d get to chat with someone who was in the thousands :joy:

Thanks for all the troubleshooting and feedback. I’ll pass your Asset Manager feedback along to the team that owns that feature

Sweet! Just checked the announcement out, and can confirm on my end too that adding/saving works now → Time to add some new audio to the list

Reception on the update seems positive too, with a few familiar suggestions as well.

:face_with_hand_over_mouth: Probably destined to be here!

Likewise and pleasure! I’d argue this has been a pretty pleasant and effective report/thread. Hopefully the team is able to integrate the gird view, audio preview button and collection tag folders features to the page soon :v:
