About:
Crown of Ooowners is a group where all owners of the Crown of O’s (or the developer longsword) can gather together as one big community!
To be ranked anything higher than “Non-Ooowner”, you must meet the requirements.
If you think you qualify, you MUST join the ranking game! Otherwise, you will be ranked manually based on your profile picture.
If you’re being ranked manually, ranking may not be accurate and can take a long while.
Requirements:
Developer Longsword:
Developer Longsword: Recieved via a code from one of the owners of swag bags.
Crowns of O’s:
You must own one or more of these crowns to qualify for a rank; if you own multiple, you will be ranked based on the highest MAU type you own. Here’s the crowns below:

How does ranking work?
We have a special ranking bot that ranks people automatically upon joining the ranking game. Roles are not ordered in importance through the group and is instead ranked by our chosen importance.
These are how important each rank is, and clarifies what rank you will be given:

Our bot ranks people based on this importance scale, therefore, we cannot rank you based on anything else, as the bot will automatically rank you again if we ranked you manually via request.
Another thing we’d like to mention is that you can join the lobby and also be ranked automatically; making ranking a whole lot easier for us.
Rules:
The rules here are straight forward, and should be very easy to follow. There are no exceptions for breaking any of these rules, even if you are of high rank. You have the responsibility to follow these rules no matter the circumstances. Please read below.
1. DO NOT advertise ANYTHING! We have a Discord server for that, and we would like you to keep the advertisements in the Discord server, as it’s much easier for us to moderate there.
2. No self promotion. We appreciate your requests for help getting crowns, but that is NO excuse to advertise anything. Advertising groups is STRICTLY PROHIBITED, as it’s nothing but self promotion. You will be exiled from the group if you break this rule, up to our discretion. Refrain from advertising groups.
3. ABSOLUTELY NO SCAMS OR SUPPORT OF SCAMS on the group wall; doing so will result in an exile without warning
4. Do not send hate, or harass other people, especially if you’re in a higher rank than them, we do not tolerate that in the slightest
5. Be kind to others; keep a positive community. We understand any negative thoughts are hard to get rid of without a way to vent it out, but please keep them to yourself or to your own group of people
6. DO NOT BEG for crowns or developer longswords, as we cannot give them out; only share your games for others to play, in order to help you get the crowns. Doing so repeatedly will result in an exile from the group.
7. No exploiting in the Crown Gang Lobby. we want the experience to be fun and enjoyable; breaking these rules will result in a permanent ban from our game, and potentially an exile from the group depending on the severity.
8. Abide by Roblox’s terms of service (TOS)
9. ABSOLUTELY NO LOOPHOLES; finding a loophole in these rules may result in an exile from the group, or a ban from the game depending on the situation. Not every rule is listed here, as it would be much more long and boring to read.
10. Use common sense. Like with rule 9, you should use common sense when doing anything in our community. Unwritten rules do not mean you have the right to break them.
Not abiding by these rules will result in the correct punishment or consequence based on the situation. If you have been exiled from the group, it is a clear warning that you have broken our rules enough for action to take place.

1. "What is 'Crown of O's' / 'Developer Longsword'?"

2. "Are you guys giving out crowns?"
No. Unfortunately we cannot give you any of the crowns.
The reasons include:
- We are not affiliated with Roblox or their Developer Awards Program
- We have no responsibility over how you can get them
- We cannot submit surveys with you in it, since you have to have been actually working on the set game that we got our awards from
3. "I have enough visits for a crown, why don't I have one?"
MAU does not mean visits!!
A common misconception is that MAU’s (monthly active users) mean visits, or are the same as visits.
They do not at all, in fact, you can have more than 100, or even over 1,000 visits, but still not be able to qualify for a Gold Crown of O’s because those visitors haven’t played more than once.
A player, in order to qualify as a MAU, has to play more than once within a given month. Then they are considered a MAU.
Same with DAU’s (daily active users) as an example.
With DAU’s, they have to visit more than once within 48 hours (2 days). A player could easily play once, then never come back, hence the reason they wouldn’t qualify.
To check if your game has enough MAU’s:
Go to your game’s “Developer Stats”,
then click the “Data Export” tab.
Once you’re on that tab you should see two buttons. select your month in the drop-down menu above the lower button that says “Generate XLSX”. Once it’s ready to download, it will say “Download XLSX”.
Then, finally, click the green button.
The document that downloads after clicking the button should let you know what your MAU count is.
A slight disclaimer though: it may take up to several minutes to be able to download the XLSX file. However, you can always exit the tab and come back to it later if need be.
4. "Why does the Crown Gang Lobby promote so much donating?"
We wanted a source of revenue, other than from the clothing in the store. Unfortunately, we do not make a lot from the group itself, so we added the donation board to the game. We don’t make a lot back from advertising the group, and we advertise for a ton, so we decided the board is the best way to go about the low-income situation.
5. "I own both a crown and a Developer Longsword, but I have been ranked for the crown instead."
If you own both, you will be automatically ranked for a crown if you have anything higher than 1M+ MAU’s. This includes the crowns: Black Iron, Wanwood, Bluesteel, and Illumina.
The reason this is the order of importance when ranked automatically is due to the popularity of choice upon previous experience in ranking manually.
6. "Why haven't I been ranked yet?"
If you haven’t been ranked yet, please join our ranking game. However, leftover pending members get ranked manually based on their profile picture. Manual ranks may not be accurate so we highly recommend joining the ranking game!
Manual ranking can take up to approximately 14 days.
7. "Are you a part of the roblox developer forum / roblox admin team?" || "Is this an official group?" || "Can you give me one of the crowns?" || "Can you give me a code to one of the developer longswords?"
We have a big answer for every one of those questions:
We are not at all associated with Roblox at all and do not have any official affiliations with these items.
We also cannot give out crowns as we do not partake in anything around giving out crowns.
This group is unofficial and is not affiliated with the developer awards program at all.
If you are looking for a developer longsword as well, we do not officially give them out, but people who own the swag bags that the codes come from may be able to, but only on their own accord and NOT through our group.
8. "I own a Crown of O's / Developer Longsword and haven't been ranked properly."
If you haven’t been ranked properly, it is likely due to human error, as you might’ve been one of our extra pending members that we had to rank manually. If you’ve been ranked to the wrong rank, just join our ranking game.
If you think you’re not ranked properly, and you have both the crown and the Developer Longsword, check out FAQ > Question 5. If you’ve met the requirements and you were actually ranked wrong, it’s because you were ranked manually. If so, join our ranking game, to be re-ranked automatically.
9. "Why can't I chat on the group wall?"
We had a major spam & self promotion issue that was very hard to irradicate, so we needed to implement a solution to make the group wall a lot cleaner and easier to moderate. Instead, for advertising your games, we’ve provided you with our Discord server, linked on the group page.
From now on (since 7/17/2022), users need to be ranked at “Adurite” or higher to be able to chat on the group wall. However, this excludes the “Developer Longsword” rank, as there’s not too many members in that role. The Developer Longsword rank members are able to chat on the group wall as well.
We prefer it this way, as it’s a way to keep the group as problem-free as possible.
10. "There's other groups like this out there, is this a copy?"
Absolutely not!
We are THE FIRST group to capitalize on these crowns and any other groups related to the Crown of O’s were made after us. However, we CANNOT credit ourselves on that quote but we can confirm that we’ve been the first Crown of O’s group to gain attention.
We are 100% original, solely inspired entirely by just the crowns themselves, and DID NOT take inspiration from competitors, if respectively there was any during the creation when creating the group initially.
11. "Is there merch for the Crown of O's?"
Yes there is!
We have all kinds of merch; one for each type of crown! We even include clothing for the crowns not available to anyone yet (like Illumina) for the ones who just admire the higher tiered crowns!
All clothing is made by do_om.
UPDATE: do_om has been terminated from Roblox for unknown reasons, but we are still keeping their name as credit for their clothing.
12. "Am I allowed to help with your group / game?"
No, we do not accept members for helping us develop our group or games. We already have enough for the team. If we eventually needed new team members in the future, we would hire them privately.
You would know if you were chosen to be hired, as we would send you an invitation to our staff team for hire.
