Ctrl+F opens the find dialog on unfocused code editing windows or does not work at all

While typing in the code editor you go to press Ctrl+F to bring up the find dialog, but then it just doesn’t appear. Usually this is accompanied by the f character actually being typed into the code editor. This happens to everyone on our team regardless of keyboard. The only way to recover from this is usually by doing a combination of: unfocusing the text editor, focusing another text editor, minimizing roblox studio, closing the text editor and re-opening that script.

Occasionally it will also open the find dialog on another text editor to which is split to the left.

This has been ongoing for over a year now.

Hi,

Thank you for filing this issue. Can you please provide us with some more information about your setup (in a Private message)? For example: A video of the repro, Betas, installed plugins, any logs.

Thank you!

Hi,

We have tried to repro this but couldn’t, any more info is much appreciated, even in private message.

Thank you!

This is also filed here: Sometimes when stopping a test / tabbing back into studio, Ctrl+F breaks and types directly into the editor - though unfortunately we still can’t repro it.
