Custom rigs using meshparts results in colors being inaccurate

When using a rig/model created from meshparts, with the humanoid set to r15 the colors appear not to translate correctly. Usually when I place a humanoid in the model, set the humanoid to an r15 rig type then cut it and repaste it in the colors no longer match. I’ve tried using bodyColors but that doesn’t work so well as coloring right leg colors the whole leg a single color.
