Which would be better to use in abundance + keep a high framerate for players?
From what it seems, Fire is a Particle fire in itself, except it has more detail, look at these textures:
You shoudn’t see any perfomance impact, I would prefer making particle explosions instead, since explosions do cause A LOT of lag in mobile devices, or really any device which is low powered, if you’re close to the explosion.
