Developer Awards! Phase 2: Virtual Items

Cool! I should be able to get the Adurite Crown. Awesome feature too!

so you’ll get a message and you’ll be able to fill in a form where you’ll be able to refer your developers.

A friend received this message and the crown on his Roblox Account but doesn’t own any games, what should he do? (He only has edit permissions on other games from other people like me) The owner of that game hasn’t gotten any message about it.

And another problem is when he wants to fill in the survey it asks what game, but we don’t know what game. The message should say what game reached it.

Edit: The “game” he had active on his account only has a total of 51 visits (test place). I think there’s a bug.

I didn’t even get a message like this so idk

One of my friends also received this message, but they don’t know which game it came from. Hoping that they would attach or state which game earned such reward(s) to make it easier if for say to award collaborators for that game or as you said, filling in the survey.

Go to the game page, then click Developer Stats (on the … menu)

then go to Export Data tab. Pick a month from the list that you want to check your MAU (Monthly Active Users) then click to download the xlsx file:

Open that file in Microsoft Excel, scroll down to the MAU graph. Something like this:

That flat line at the end is my game, haha. I should get something though, I think… not sure.

Its kind of a pain, especially if you don’t have an app to open the file.

Yeah, maybe I’ll get this one, haven’t seen any emails/messages though:

I’m happy that I received the golden one!

I tried doing that but it wouldn’t even allow me to download, maybe I don’t have Microsoft Excel because I use a Mac.

Congrats bro!

I believe I qualify for multiple crowns, but I’m unsure if group games can also qualify as long as you have the Hammer icon next to your name in-game, and you have team create with the person who owns it.

This is the statistics for one of my profile games; the most visited per one month:

… And this is the statistics for the group game that I’ve contributed to:

The group game is owned by my alt, however that doesn’t matter statistic wise and logically, which is why I believe you should be able to have the crowns for group games that you have editing privileges in, if it isn’t a qualification yet.

UPDATE:

I have found my MAU table for each of my games and gathered up my research on them.
As from what I’ve gathered, I’ve noticed that my most visited game by month isn’t my most popular game for MAU, and the MAU’s don’t always correlate to visits.

Anyone wondering if your 100 visits qualifies, it’s not those statistics that count, it is the “Monthly Game Stats Data” you see in the Data Export tab

Here’s a screenshot of my profile game that I have already listed in this post:

Here’s a screenshot of the game I contributed to (also listed above in this post):

… And finally; a game I discovered has more MAU’s than I thought:

I can’t wait to have my rewards for these statistics, as they’re something to really look forward to!
It’s very satisfying to have your hard work pay off through a reward in the form of these crowns!

… And as a side note, I figured out that yes you can have crowns for games you’ve helped, but most, you have to submit a survey for if you’re the owner of that game and want someone else in your team to have the crowns. I hope I’ve answered any of you guys’ questions as well; through my short research.

As long as the data is 2018 or later, you’re still qualified. :+1:

Does this mean I qualify?

I tried downloading the monthly game stats data to see if I got the required MAU but it wouldn’t let me choose the month (September of 2020).

I don’t understand how this works. I’m a developer under a group, but I’m not the owner, but the only developers are me and my friend, do we still get the items?

That’s likely because the game’s data isn’t relevant enough to pop up for that month. You’ll have to reach a certain milestone, in which I’m not sure what it is, in order to see the month pop up. Though, I’m not sure if that affects getting the golden crown or not.
