Developers can now play their own private games!

Hi Developers,

We have gotten feedback from many of you that it is difficult to test your game online without other players dropping in uninvited. To address this, we are now allowing developers of a game to play even if the game is private! This means you can now test in isolation and don’t have to make separate accounts to keep your projects a secret. This also applies to group games: everyone who has edit access will be able to play privately.

Finally!

thank you for this wonderful gift which you have bestowed upon us

THANK YOU! YES!

I love this feature.

Can we have a whitelist for users who can join a game now?

Do people who have access to edit the game also have this permission? I assume so

Edit: Sorry that was unclear, is it only the owner who can play or is it alll of the developers

Woohoo!

I’ve been waiting for this!

Update works with group games as well, great job on the consistency! :+1:

Very nice, but I’d really like a whitelist similar to VIP servers that allows specific users access rather than having to kick people through code if we want multiple testers who aren’t developers. This would mean games don’t get downvoted before they’re released.
