Any estimate on when this feature will be released?
Huge step forward! I think this is honestly a lot cooler of a feature than some might think! Clouds will add such a cool dynamic to games.

Woah, Roblox is starting to look really realistic. Just wait until horror games come along using these awesome features! 
This new feature is awesome! I love how Roblox is taking it further and making games more realistic. I love it!
This will definitely help a lot of developers, the only question I have is will you be able to add your own custom textures/meshes if you’re into that?
The clouds - my verdict
I have clonetrooper1019’s Roblox Studio mod so I can try out the clouds themselves.
I think when at the right settings can look a little realistic and sometimes spectacular.
Sometimes the clouds can be a little fuzzy and look a little ugly.
But that can easily be fixed by changing the cloud settings or add some lighting effects to make it less visible.
Overall, I like this new update and wish to have it come out soon because it does look pretty nice.

DomDerpRBLX’s image is the worst case scenario of how the clouds would look. Changing some settings of the clouds could help make it look better.
OK, thanks, I was confused by the various posts like capture_nest which is reviewing the look of the new clouds as they test it. They must have a special pre preview edition.

Does 1a release for beta mean only visible in Studio? (such as FIB3) or will it be visible in game but a beta studio option?
Is there an ETA for an official studio release, without having to resort to Mod Manager?

Tomorrow I think, I remember someone saying that.
I think that this will add a whole new level of detail never before seen on roblox, Currently i use very basic clouds that use meshes and static images. I cannot wait to see it in action.

flashback to those hundreds of free model scripts i went through in 2013 to add working clouds to the game
can’t wait for this to be released as a beta feature so i can test it on the welcome to the town of robloxia map

I’m super excited to test this out! If there were ever a weather update to come out, I’d think it would make this clouds update even more awesome. 
It’ll probably be hidden for just Roblox Studio, I don’t think they’re ready to release it to all games just yet.
