Sounds great! A quick question though, if you don’t mind - are there any plans to let us customize SunRay color, and the color of the sun during dusk/dawn? With more and more features like Dynamic Skies being added, it becomes increasingly vital for higher customization levels, which would allow for higher levels of detail in our environments.
EDIT: To clarify,
Does this mean it’s already enabled, or that it’ll be enabled later on today? Many thanks.
This is a really amazing feature and I would really enjoy seeing what’s coming up next with the weathers and other properties. However, I found a minor issue, I’d like to report so it can be fixed for the future. Anything other than this, is really amazing. A good improvement for experiences.
This issue I’m talking about is like a movement of the clouds at the bottom, when there is no skybox or atmosphere inserted. (This only happens when you move the camera.)
I had Clouds.Cover 0.604 and Clouds.Density 1
Here’s a gif providing a visual of what I’m talking about.
.
If this specifications help I’m running on a Windows 10, RTX2080s 16gb ram.
Can’t wait to see the other features it has to offer!
This looks great and I’m looking forward to seeing more customization options. Sunray color and texture customization along with a new dynamic night sky, stars are things that would come to mind
quick question that might sound a bit stupid, but
if the clouds are enabled in studio, are they also enabled in the game player? or is it still a studio only thing
Sunrays seem to have a bit of trouble working with clouds correctly, they sort of flicker & teleport across the screen instead of smoothly fading in and out when being covered by clouds. This issue occurs at any viewing angle where sunrays are visible.
From what I’ve heard there are going to be other features with dynamic skies so, in a sense, it does make sense. Ig it does come down to personal preference but we’ll see.
