Welcome to the official update logs for the roblox game, The Energy Technology Development Facility by Nightmare Forge Studios.
These update logs will be updated each time the game receives an update or patch so be sure to check back here daily or weekly to see what’s new!

Version 0.12 - Quality of Life Update (June 16, 2025)
- Revamped the applied science centre building.
- With new labs, equipment, areas, more floors to explore and a new modern type style that will be coming to other facility building in future updates.
- The OPS and CSS have now been merged into one main system called the core safeguard system.
- You can now teleport to our other games via the in game menu.
- Replaced all keycard doors and gates in the facility with the new versions.
- Added new weapons.
- Updated the laser power up animation.
- Added brand new effects to the facility’s energy core.
- Moved the currency balances to the topbar instead of on the side of the screen for more screen space on smaller devices.
- Increased the inventory limit from 15 to 20.
- All facility lights now turn red instead of turning off during a core meltdown.
- Added support for VR players.
- Added energy core statistic screens inside the core control room.
- Updated the invite rewards menu.
- Added new energy core heating laser effects.
- Made some minor improvements to the structural exterior design of the security intelligence centre building.
- Fixed problem with needing the past a keycard door to access terminal 1.
- The core operator spawn area access stairs now requires a level 3 keycard to be passed to access the area.
- Shortened the cooldown when increasing and/or descreasing lasers from 3 seconds to 2 seconds.
- Selected terminals now show highlighted with increase light cover range for easier locating.
- Fixed issue with terminals not working and failing to print codes.
- Fixed issue with terminal selection not getting randomize and terminal 1 always being selected instead of other terminals.
- Updated testing field fencing to match the colours of the facility’s exterior fences.
- Made some minor optimization and performance improvements for certain low-end devices such as:
- Most models in the games (like trees, fences, windows, railings, rocks, data cell tower, and more) now use mostly to just unions instead of parts to reduce the numbers of parts in the game.
- And removed the trees in the garden space due to an excessive use of parts.
- Added security call points.
- Made some improvements to the energy generation centre.
- Fixed issue with security checkpoints getting stuck in the proceed state.
- Fixed issue with security checkpoints scan retina prompt not appearing.
- Added a main menu screen and a game introduction screen that appears when you join the game.
- Addded an in-game update log that you can view by tapping/clicking on the version button in the topbar.
- Revamped the interior checkpoint building.
- Added new weapons.
- Including the “Thunderlock X”, “Frostbite Marauder”, “ThunderStrike R20”, “ThunderStrike R720”, and “Viperstrike MK-4”.
Verison 0.11a - Needed Patch Update (June 01, 2025)
- Removed fall damage and the day and night cycle, They will both readded into the game in the future.
- Removed the slow health regen, Health will now regen like normal.
- Fixed issue with team swtiching menu not showing the correct team category.
Version 0.11 - The Production and Operations Update (June 01, 2025)
- Added a new building to the facility.
- The medical and genetics centre.
- Majorly improved the design of keycard doors to a more modern design.
- With built-in lights, sounds, and effects for when data centre is hacked.
- Added a new crowbar tool that can be used on some keycard doors to forcefully open them.
- Added chat-tags with the department for each team.
- Made some major improvements to the energy generation centre.
- Added some secrets to the energy generation centre.
- Added a new factory area underneath the appiled science centre and weapon research centre.
- Expanded the area behind the core safety system management room for potential use in the future.
- Added a new secondary currency, Known as the crystal shard currency.
- Added a health bar.
- Updated core detonation countdown timer.
- Improved the data management centre building.
- Fixed issue with core temperature not resting and rising too quickly after being reactivated.
- An air siren plays outside of the energy generation centre during a core meltdown.
- Facility now completely restricts access to the facility fully during a core meltdown event to prevent access during meltdown expect for bunker enterances.
- Added additional emergency alarms lights to the facility.
- Added a new blast effect to the start of the core meltdown event that destories the bottom and top structures inside the energy core camber for added effect.
- Massively improvemented the team selection menu.
- Added 4 moveable road barriers at the facility’s exterior enterance.
- Health now regens slowly.
- Added landscaping outside the facility’s exterior.
- Added over 80+ new achievable minute ranks.
- Repurposed the “Minute Master of Time” badge into “Facility Specialist” due to the extreme amount of time needed and difficultly to obtain the badge.
- The badge can now be obtained by actively playing the game for more than 1 hour (60 Minutes) duration.
- You can now visit older versions of the game.
- You are now able to exchange and convert your currency.
- Lowered the volume of the music that playing during the last 85 seconds of the core detonation countdown.
Version 0.10a - Needed Patch Update (May 23, 2025)
- Improved the nuclear rocket lauching area.
- Updated the style of the game menu.
- Fixed issue with nuke launching and testing system not resting after first nuke detonation.
- Moved one of metal sheets into the right position.
- Fixed issue with the nuke launching and testing system not disabling upon core becoming compromised.
- Fixed issue with core randomly freezing after becoming compromised.
- Fixed issue with exterior emergency lights not turning off upon level 5 getting automaticly deactivated.
- Fixed issue with data centre not automatically getting repaired after 15 minutes.
Version 0.10 - The Efficiency and Expansion Update, Part 2 (May 23, 2025)
- Removed the modern backpack ui for readditon in the future, due to issues with overlapping on certain devices.
- Completely overhaulled the weapon system to now use the roblox weapon kit system.
- Revamped the exterior checkpoint, exterior walls, and interior checkpoint and the interior walls.
- Energy core control system and configuration rebalancing changes.
- Added a 60 second cooldown that prevents the core from being reactivated until cooldown ends.
- Fixed error with core shutdown mechanic not functioning correctly.
- Updated the overheating prevention system override panel.
- Updated the core’s control room and general area slightly.
- Core operators and engineers now spawn in a decaded room located above the core control’s enterance.
- Slightly buffed running speed for faster movement speeds.
- Major user interface improvements.
- User interface changes to have a more modern style.
- Majorly improved and completely revamped the rebellion base.
- With different areas for each rebellion team to spawn and added tunnels to above the rebellion base with a petrol station (also known as a gas station).
- Decreased the size of the side buttons to allow for more screen space.
- Added two new buildings to the facility.
- Including a data centre and a security intelligence center building.
- Added two new teams to the facility.
- Including a intervention force (800 Robux) and a defense taskforce team.
- All user interface buttons now have a sound effect when interacted with.
- Made some major changes to the applied science centre.
- Majorly rebalanced and adjusted the pricing of gamepass teams.
- Added a new server management panel for private servers owners to manage and control how their server runs and functions.
- Updated the core’s control system statistic panel to a more modern design.
- Added daily rewards with a daily reward streak.
- Added invite rewards that appears when interacting with the invite friends button instead of the invitation prompt.
- Added a short and easy tutorial for new players to know what the buttons on the side of the screen are for.
- The welcome badge is now awarded to players for completing the tutorial.
- Added a little sound effect that plays when unlocking achivements.
- Added a gem currency store for buying some extra gems when needed.
- Set the maximum balance for the gem currency as 500 billon.
Version 0.9 - The Efficiency and Expansion Update (May 04, 2025)
- Added an new building, The applied science centre.
- With a delivery drop off bay area.
- Complete redesign of the weapons research centre.
- You can now drive onto the testing field with ramps down the field at the front of the testing field.
- Massively expanded the testing field and to the outside area of the facility.
- The blast from the nukes now no longer get closer to the facility.
- The sides of the testing field are now fenced off and the testing field can only be accessed from the back, front or the ramps.
- Make some slight adjustments to the core system with the core’s statuses and core meltdown.
- Fixed the issue of audio being offset during core meltdown.
- Fixed issue with the detonation countdown on screen being out of sync with the countdown on the temperature panel.
- The core control panels now show that they are disabled during a core overload.
- Players no longer take any damage from the core energy pulses and waves.
- You can now walk on top of the energy generation centre.
- Improved the facility’s keycard doors to be more modern, better functional and less annoying to walk through.
- Added a new 4 teams.
- Including the Rocket Engineer, Factory Personnel, Facility Governor (500 Robux), and Facility Scientist.
- Fixed issue with missplaced terminals and terminals not spawning.
- Made some major improvements to the nuke launch and testing system.
- The “Launch Keycard” is now required to launch rockets.
- Revamped the nuclear rocket’s design.
- Implemented security measures to prevent farming in game minutes.
- Added a fifth rule, Do not farming in game minutes or xp.
- Fixed issues with data saving, Player data now saves once again.
- Teams now have their own clothing and uniforms.
- Added a new gem currency which can be used for buying upgrades and other stuff.
- Removed the ability to favourite teams due to extensive issues and bugs.
- Added team ranks with an exp system and a maximum rank of 20 for each team.
- Made some slight improvements to the safety bunker tunnels.
- Added a connection point from the weapon research centre to the safety bunker for easier access.
- Updated the aftermath meltdown lighting effects.
- Updated the core explosion effects with a new blur effect.
- The rebellion base is now included in the safezones and not just the bunker.
- Removed the management centre building and replaced it with a new executive command center building.
- With a direct access to the emergency safety bunker.
- Removed the normal rebellion vehicles due to major lag and issues.
- The day and night cylce now starts at 8 AM instead of 6 AM.
- Minor bug and issue fixes.
Version 0.8 - The Core Overload Update (April 27, 2025)
- Added a new energy core overload event.
- Which disables the rocket launch and testing system, announcement system, facility level alert system
- And with the re-addition of the compromised core status.
- Added an emergency safety bunker underneath the facility that’s used during the new energy core overload event.
- You can now walk down and into the energy core camber but it cannot be entered during the energy core overload event.
- Added a new air rurbines room inside the energy generation centre.
- Added the ‘Wave of Energy’ badge.
- Given to players who die to the energy core’s explosion.
- The ‘First Time Witness’ can now be obtained.
- Given to players who experience the core meltdown completely for the first time.
- All gamepasses now supports roblox’s newst feature, regional pricing!
- Teams categories in the team change menu now show the amount of available teams in that category.
- Added categories for the game settings menu with new game settings.
- The user interface buttons now have readable text next to the icons on the side of the screen.
- Overhaulled the game settings menu and the team selection menu.
- With the ability to favourite teams for easier access to teams.
- The unlock all teams will now stay at a fixed price of 8,500 Robux instead of increasing slowly every time a team is locked behind a gamepass.
- Revamped the core’s alerts panel to have better styled alerts.
- Added pathways connecting the roofs of some facility buildings.
- Added a moderator call command to quickly call a moderator into the server to get game issues and rule breakers banned and dealt with.
Version 0.7 - The Management Update (April 20, 2025)
- Fixed issue with the change team button breaking after swtiching teams.
- Added a new management department building.
- Added a management tablet.
- That allows for viewing facility logs, setting the facility alert level and more.
- Exclusive to Facility Manager and Management Director.
- Improved the look of the energy generation centre’s building exterior.
- Improved the facility’s security with security checkpoint enterances.
- Added a new electrical power station building.
- Disrupt the facility by cutting off the facility’s electrical supply which makes it harder to see, prevents rockets from being powered, and disables security enterance checkpoints for 20 minutes.
- The data management centre can now be hacked.
- Hacking the data management centre now messes with security alert messages making them a bit confusing and unclear.
- The buy unlock all teams message now appears at the top of the team list and now gets hidden if the unlock all teams gameapass is owned.
- Added teleporters with a total of 4 teleporters around the facility!
- Exclusive to Management Directors.
- Cannot be used during an active power station hack.
- Added 7 different facility alert levels.
- Including: Level 1 (Normal Facility Operation Protocol), Level 2 (Heightened Awareness Protocol), Level 3 (Elevated Threat Protocol), Level 4 (Critical Hazard Protocol), Level 5 (Emergency Lockdown Protocol), Level 6 (System Override Protocol), and Level 7 (Emergency Evacution Protocol).
- Added a facility alert level system with different alert levels.
- Exclusive to Facility Managers and Management Directors.
- Added a facility announcement system.
- Exclusive to Assisant Managers, Facility Managers, and Management Directors.
- Cannot be used during an active power station hack.
- New updates are now checked every 5 minutes instead of every minute.
- Limited inventory size to 15 items per player.
- Added vending machines and coffee makers.
- Increased the team changing cooldown from 60 seconds to 300 seconds.
Version 0.6 - The Rebellion Update (April 18, 2025)
- Added 8 new teams.
- Including: Rebellion (Free), Phantom Circuit (Free), Silent Front (550 Robux), Rebel Strategist (880 Robux), Saboteur Alliance (1200 Robux), Voidbreakers (1500 Robux), Wraith Division (2000 Robux), and Spectral Reavers (3000 Robux).
- Made some map expansions at the front of the facility and near the testing grounds/fields.
- Increased the special discount percentage for the unlock all teams gamepass from a 6.5% discount up to a 42% discount.
- Added a brand new location, The rebellion base.
- Added rebellions vehicles.
- Including the Voidbreaker Tank, R3-Q Drift, R3-Q Drift LITE, and Spectral Tank.
- Outdated servers will now shutdown after being outdated for about 5 to 10 minutes.
- Make some futher expansions to the nuke launch and testing system control room with some improvements to the nuke launch and testing system.
- Keycard door scanners now scan keycards quicker.
- Reduced the scan time from 0.125 seconds to 0.05 seconds.
- Added solar panels to the roof of the data centre, maintenance centre, and external enterance buildings.
Version 0.5 - The Advanced Facility Update (April 15, 2025)
- Added a new maintenance office building.
- Added a new technician team.
- Added a new emergency response team.
- Shorten the team changing cooldown to 60 seconds from 120 seconds.
- Improved the nuke launch and testing system control desk.
- Added a new launch configuration system and screen.
- Added 8 new nucelar rocket core variants.
- Including Biohazard, Antimatter, Electric, Nitrogen, Dark Mattter, Cryogenic, Ashogenic, and Thusrain rocket core variants.
- Reactor operators now have a decided office and spawn room inside the energy generation centre.
- Made some major and some minor improvements the nuke launch and testing system.
- Improved the testing field’s terrain and general weapons research centre building area.
- Lowered the area behind the weapons research centre building.
- Made some massive expansions to the back of the weapons research centre.
- Including view area expansion over the road, increased the celling height inside the nuke launch and testing system control room, and lowered the terrain around the back of the building to allow for a viewing platform above.
- Added a nuclear rocket testing report screen that shows data about each previous test launch.
- Data including: Total flight duration, rocket flight speed, measured radiation level, destruction range, maximum height reached, fuel consumption rate, rocket serial number, and overall testing result.
- Added active testing area danger signs around the testing grounds.
- Made some minor improvements to the energy core and core camber.
- Including four new heating lasers, small new core details and improvements to the look of the energy core’s top and bottom bases.
- Removed the energy core’s compromised status later re-addition in a future update.
- Added a loading screen with over 38 different unique messages.
- Added a new “Report Issue” button in the topbar.
- Added a new report and feedback menu and system.
- That allows players to report any issues about the game and to send any feedback they have about the game directly to our developement team.
- The “/rejoin” chat command now works in private servers.
- Added a new system that repeatedly check to see if a new version is available and then shuts down any servers that are old and outdated.
- Public servers get shutdown randomly between 5 minutes to 2 hours after being outdated.
- The daylight cycle now lasts exactly 15 minutes with new servers starting at 6 AM.
Version 0.4 - Advanced Systems Update (April 13, 2025)
- Added player name tags that show a players team and minute rank.
- Added a new view player statistics inside the customization menu.
- Added an improved rocket model due to issues with the previous model.
- Completely revamped the safeguard panel room.
- Revamped the safeguard control panel room.
- Fully fixed laser and cooler controls.
- Added a cooldown to the energy core’s control system for controlling the core.
- Removed the welcome chat message due to issues, will return in the future.
- The nuke launching and testing system now shows that it’s actively checking if each materials are available and if there’s enough in stock with a small delay between each check.
- Completely fixed issues with the rocket not launching and with the nuke launching and testing system, Everything should work as intended.
- The nuke launching and testing system now logs the total previous amount of launches in the server and the previous 7 launches will now show up on the launch history screen.
- The nuke launching and testing system will now highlight materials if they’re running low as well as if there’s none in stock.
- Security and material restocks are now able to be requested by the two orange buttons on the nuke launching and testing system control desk.
- Added screens inside the nuke launching and testing system control room that now show how long a facility has been operating for.
- Adjusted the back side of the weapons research centre to match the other side on the back of the building to make the back side symmetrical.
- Added New Tools to the game.
- Including Flare Gun, and a Punch Tool.
- Added the ability to drop tools and to remove them from your inventory.
- Raised the height of the facility’s exterior fences for extra facility protection.
- Added a new data management centre building.
- Disrupt the facility and gain easier access to any area or building restricted behind a level 3 keycard door or gate for 20 minutes by hacking the data management centre!

Version 0.3 - Weapons Research Update (April 09, 2025)
- Added four team gamepasses.
- Including: Unlock All Teams (7,447 Robux), Assist Manager (1,999 Robux), Facility Manager (2,499 Robux), and Management Director (3,499 Robux).
- Improved the Weapons Research Centre.
- Including a third enterance, connection to the third floor, a secondary connection to the second floor.
- Improved the main system room and the Rocket Scientist Spawn Room.
- Added a fully working rocket launch system.
- With an inventory system, launch history logs, custom selections, and more.
- Added an improved inventory and backpack.
- Added a welcome chat message that appears everytime you join.
- With a new setting to allow it to be turned off or on.
- Setting toggles now save and now no longer require adjustments everytime on rejoin.
- Added a three second cooldown to setting toggles in the setting menu.
- And fixed issue with the ‘data retrieved successfully’ notification reappearing after player respawn.
Version 0.2a - Needed Patch Update (April 08, 2025)
- Added a on-screen notification thats appears when joining after player data is retrieved successfully.
- Added a new notepad tool for writing down tasks and things to remember for later.
- Slight map readjustments to fix roads just ending randomly.
- Fixed issue with terminal selection and with sequence notifications not appearing in chat.
- Finished rocket launch area inside the weapon research centre building and dded a second enterance to the building.
- Fixed issue with notepad ui not disabling on unequip.
- Fixed issue with laser toggles not working.
- Added 8 new core statuses that the core changes into depending on the temperature range.
- Including: Idle, Active, Optimal, Effective, Warning, Danger, Critical, and Compromised.
- And add warning notification will now show on the core alerts panel if all lasers are active.
Version 0.2 - The Beta Update (April 08, 2025)
- Mega map expansion by about 4x the original map size.
- Added a new external checkpoint, energy generation centre and weapon research centre buildings.
- Added a functional main energy core inside the energy generation centre.
- Added terminals around the facility with a new terminal access usb tool.
- Added a two safegaurd systems with full functionally coming in the next update.
- Revamped ID cards to be more modern, detailed and cooler to look at.
- Added security calls points around the map to call security directly to points on the map.
- Added a nuke testing, building and launching system with full functionally coming later.
- Added a massive testing field for nuke testing coming later on in the future.
- And added coolant pumps that can be turned off to prevent cooling of the core and to allow the core to be shutdown when at 0 K.
