This is an interesting, and worrying, case. Previously with items like the Autumn Crown, the sales caused by buying through other methods to get around a broken buy button were at no cost, and the ones which cost R$ came after going off sale for some time, giving users a chance to see the item was fixed.
Here, on the other hand, the initial 1K purchasers, the ones who got serials, were the ones who got charged, and everyone afterwards got the face for free.
Roblox is left with the question of how to handle it. They can’t take cash from the +1K users, or remove the faces, since that leaves an unfair situation. They could refund the first 1K buyers, and then fix the face, but then we’re left with a bunch of users who got a free Limited U face. They could refund the face and then take it off sale, but now we’re left with users who want the face, but probably won’t get it.
All around a messy situation, and one that’s bound to get worse if Roblox doesn’t act fast. It has a timer set to end in around 24 hours from my reply being posted. When the Autumn Crown, the last item to have this sort of glitch, hit 0 on its timer, the issue fixed itself by acting as if it’s any other sold out Limited U. It did, however, mean that many people got free profit from the crown.
Here, if the timer hits 0, we’re left with a split between users who paid 1K for the face, and users who paid nothing for it.
You should be fine, this is from what I remember the 4th time an item has had this issue.
