Not entirely sure what the criteria is but feeling like this should listed as a critical tag. People just bought an item for 50k that others for got free + profit.

To put an exact number on the baronesses, I counted with R+'s list. 137/239 were free. No clue how many Blue Orcs were though, I don’t think I could count through such a list, and Roblox’s API has been so slow recently that running a script to scrape that info would take some time, and someone who knows how to account for the slower rate.

The web site hasn’t been manipulated, It’s happen to me, I click “Buy” on the new baron (only 2 left), but the robux wasn’t deduct from my wallet, I got non-serial item. At least delete the item but not their account. Normally the bot would be the first to get the item, not the last.

Did some magic and found that there are 5524 total owners of the Blue Orcs. That is 4524 people that did not pay for the 1000 robux face and still own it.

The owners of the Baron Federation that got it after its stock was out are ruining its RAP and selling it low in attempts for fast robux it seems.

If my math is correct, Roblox lost 6,850,000 Robux off the extra 135 owners of Baron and lost 4,524,000 Robux off the extra 4524 owners of Blue Orc… Major blow.

The most concerning part in all of this is the lack of response from any Roblox staff, despite all the attention to it from the community. They really need to make a statement about this, soon, and stop making more hats until they fix this. I didn’t get a free baroness, or any baroness at all, but I did get a glitched blue face. Even a short one paragraph post on the DevForum from a Staff would really help out.

ruby just got fixed and is now selling normally but the ones who got for free well you know.
It seems roblox isn’t able to handle the huge amount of purchases which could’ve broken it?

The issue is that the limiteds being released also has a timer on it, which is weird… Has to be something internally, maybe the system is confusing a limited edition item with a timer item.

You are actively making it harder for engineers to get through the thread by reposting what was already said and fear-mongering.

All 3 of the broken limiteds were released as a Limited U + a Timer item.

I believe the items were automatically queued to be released and most staff are off work.
If my theory is even somewhat correct it would explain how the issue has grown so large, and why it’s difficult to solve in the moment.

I feel really upset about purchasing a copy of Torque the Blue Orc for 1000 Robux, and then 4524 people receive it for free. I received serial number #813 from purchasing it at its original price, and because of the people who bought serial-free copies, the value and price of the face was destroyed.
I messaged Roblox Customer Service about the issue, but they did nothing about the issue. I kinda felt scammed by this, because I had purchased the Robux to get the face, and I received no refund or compensation, and now over 4,000 people are selling it for free profit.
This issue seems unreasonable, especially considering the fact that this is considered a “catalog glitch.”
The glitch really upset me, and it felt horrible to see that I spent 1000 Robux ($10.00 USD) on this face, and now people are selling it for an unreasonably low price.
This Limited Unique item was ruined due to a glitch. People took advantage of it, and they received free profit.
Nothing was done about the issue…

The Disgraced Baroness of the Federation also experienced the same error. A lot of people were able to get the limited for free and I however purchased it before the error message so it charged me the R$50,000 (around 276 USD). There are now approximately 192 copies available when there should only be 100, this has therefore impacted the profitability of the item as there is more in circulation.
This must not be ignored and the appropriate action should be taken to resolve this issue.

I received an E-Mail from Roblox Support, and they refunded the Robux I had used to purchase the Torque the Blue Orc and Ruby Archfey Visage faces.
I’m very happy to see that they actually took care of the situation, even though they were two weeks late.

I also emailed Support and they refunded me in full for Disgraced Baroness of the Federation, Torque the Blue Orc, and Ruby Archfey Visage. I had kept the Federation but sold the faces, and they refunded the original costs and I still have Baroness.
I’m very pleased that they’re handling this issue and refunding the people that had purchased the items, I don’t know if they’re going to refund everyone eventually instead of needing to contact support, but I suggest emailing them for the time being if you haven’t.
A+ Roblox Support, I just hope the Web Team can fix this problem before it happens again with more items.
