Roblox stopped with the metaverse thing which thats thats what the rthros were actually for. They made more rthros to simulate the “metaverse” and it really got us angry so they stopped. Im am 99% sure that they wont make more… the other 1% is that percent that will never get near to its way of actually occurring.
But your not wrong with roblox saying its normal. It starts getting me the facebook avatar vibes. Uugh, get it off my head. But still, theirs no way for them to change their mind.
They may have stopped calling Roblox “the metaverse” a while ago, but Roblox is still trying to be the next biggest thing since sliced bread. It’s what any company wants to do (especially in the technology sector), and Roblox still thinks Rthro is “the future”. I can see them in the future making more Rthro bundles for all to use because of this. (If anyone thinks I hate Rthro, I’d like to let everyone know that I don’t think all Rthro bundles are bad, but Roblox likes promoting the ones that look the worst to me the most)
I hate this policy update. Under this new policy, games that don’t comply, like Natural Disaster Survival, would be taken down by moderation. Just pausing this update isn’t enough. This update needs to be canceled.
If Natural Disaster Survival gets taken down, the Roblox community will probably become an unnatural disaster. Really if the update rolls out it’ll become a disaster, put shortly.
Yes. They think it’s the future. Instead, it’s going to be a disaster if it were the future, if I am going to be honest. Rthro made little avatars and made tall avatars that were never meant to be in Roblox and broke hitboxes. But I guess we’re going to have to deal with it.
It sort of is. Rather than continuing to add new features and evolve, Roblox is now considering limiting its developers like this.
I’m thinking that if this policy update is ever made, it’ll require some big developers to leave the platform to pressure Roblox into reverting the changes, like what happened with Unity.
even this is inaccurate because their stock price dipped after they announced this, idk why a public company valued at billions of dollars isnt doing their best to please their investors
If your own loyal staff team begins questioning your actions, that should be a sign to slow down.
The anvil is merely in temporary stasis, it’ll fall when nobody is looking. We should have someone actively look out for this and immediately bring notice to the release of the policy. If Roblox isn’t going to tell us that a policy drops, someone else will.
Things can’t get more uncanny than an unsettling resemblance to TerminalMontage’s response to COPPA’s involvement. It’s extremely nauseating.
The good thing about Godot is that it can’t be messed up since it’s open source. If someone tries to ruin it by forcing a controversial change onto it, someone could fork the source code then everyone would migrate to that version.
I do understand this isn’t a final description, however many are wondering weather games such as old games which use old hats that have gone off-sale over the years are now disallowed to exist and must remove the hats, or are you simply suggesting the creator should not use an off-sale hat?
It’s understandable you would like to encourage buying items from the catalog, however this method is simply ineffective. A more effective approach would be implementing it yourself by tracing the item on the player to the catalog item, and giving the player an option to buy it. This option shouldn’t show up in the middle of the screen, either. It shall lie in a place, exampled for next to the chat window.
If you discourage developers by telling them to implement coding they may not understand into their game, or fear being banned, you will make much less money than simply giving the players the option to buy it via implementing an official feature. I hope this message finds you well, and I hope dearly in which you re-consider your decision to be much more wise.
