Explosions currently inherit the “Default” collision group and they do respect the collision group rules and ignore parts accordingly, but there is no way to assign them to any other collision group because the explosion object has no collision group property. Because of this you are forced to keep all explosion related stuff able to be collided with the “Default” collision group.
Expected behavior
A property to change an explosions collision group and have it act accordingly only affecting objects it can collide with.
