I have a guy in a car. I want to blow up the car and have his body go flying without him losing his hat/backpack/etc…
If I put the explosion in a certain CollisionFilter that will only break the joints of the car I can achieve this.

You can already achieve this somewhat by making a purely aesthetical explosion (DestroyJointRadiusPercent = 0 etc.), and break the appropriate joints yourself by using the Explosion.Hit event.
I do my own explosions atm by setting DestroyJointRadiusPercent to 0, breaking the joints of what I need, then applying Velocity.
I just wish there was a more elegant way to do this.
