Hi guys! I am using Export Selection to make a gfx (it is my first time), and it keeps bringing up this error message. I tried restarting roblox studio and it still isn’t working, do you guys know why?

Btw, I am not able to put this under #bug-reports because I didn’t get accepted, even though I requested a month ago.
This is probably a problem with a software created the obj. But I’m not sure cuz I don’t have any information about the obj.
Is it only certain files that can’t be loaded? Or are you unable to load any obj files?

maybe your selecting something that isnt a basepart?
I am selecting the model for my character. It worked in several videos, so idk why it isn’t working for me.
I am unable to export any obj files on Roblox. I tried exporting a baseplate, and the same error message popped up. I can still export obj files with blender tho, so I know my computer is capable of exporting obj files.
is your model R6 or R15.
Following what MeatMake said, if it’s not a BasePart it won’t get exported because meshes would’ve originated from a file somewhere + it would be complicated if meshes aren’t all OBJs themselves.
R6 uses baseparts
R15 uses MeshParts (or something similar)

I am exporting an R6 avatar. Also, nothing will export, even baseplates.
2 days later this still isn’t working. What should I do? It says to contact roblox support, but idk if they would listen. Also, I can’t file a bug report.
R15 works fine for me.

It seems like this is an issue with your computer, not roblox.
Try reinstalling roblox.

Also, I know this is a different video than before, but this one lets you pick anyones avatar instead of just your own.
I tried this again 18 days later, on my alt account, on a different computer, at a different house, and it still didn’t work. Is this working for anyone else?

One more thing to note about them both being on different computers was that they were both apple computers. Could that be the problem?
